Cher marks down her Mailbu estate to $75 M
Gay icon Cher has relisted the Malibu 1.7 acre estate she has called 'home' for 34 years, and knocked off $10M from the previous list price. She first listed the Italian-inspired mansion in October with a $85M pricetag, but got no takers. She took it off the market, and has relisted it again with a $10M discount. Cher bought the place in 1989, for $2.5 M.
The estate overlooks the Pacific Ocean, and has an infinity pool, tennis courts, movie theater, gym, 40 palm trees, a courtyard and a fountain. The main structure has seven bedrooms - the main suite has a meditation room and climate-controlled wig room to hold up to 100 wigs.
Cher announced in January that she's engaged to music producer Alexander Edwards, who is 40 years younger. Edwards said he gets along great with her two sons, and said she loves his son Slash. Cher's 2 sons are older than Edwards.

I think she's still there while she tries to sell it. Most likely, a buyer will be someone whom she knows and has been to her house in the past - so they are familiar with it and know if it's worth the asking price. I doubt she will open it to the public.

R10, that's not how high-end real estate works. No, the agent won't be sticking an open house sign on PCH, but prospective clients will need a proof of funds (usually a letter from their bank) for them to see the property.
Normally toured by the buyers agent or business manager beforehand.
