What Is Your Beverage of Choice?
Are you a water drinker, sparkling water, crystal light, soda, coffee, tea, etc?
I tend to gravitate towards Soda (coke / diet coke). I'm wondering what beverages others find themselves sipping on throughout the day. I'd like to try to be a better water drinker.

Coffee. On the advice of my heart doctor, I limit myself to one cup of regular in the morning and then switch to decaf for the remainder of the day, drinking a total of about 4 cups.

Decaf coffee drinkers beware. I recently weaned myself off of coffee (caffeine) by incrementally substituting decaf for caffeinated. E.g., 80% caf / 20% decaf, then 60% caf / 40% decaf, and so on.
At the end, when I quit coffee altogether, I still had that wiped-out feeling of going cold turkey on coffee.
My conclusion: there's a lot more caffeine in decaf than you think.

R26 may be right, at least sort of.
I saw something recently saying decaf could stop the dreaded "no caf" headaches. It has enough to keep the worst of the blahs at bay.

OP "I'd like to try to be a better water drinker."
You have to try to drink water? It's so very difficult to drink water instead of GARBAGE BEVERAGES such as COKE?
You need to discuss this in some what? Because discussion is going to help you rise to the great challenge of drinking water?

I am a major tea addict, both hot and cold. I love Chai with some ginger added, Earl Grey, English Breakfast and Constant Comment spiced tea. I have at least two large glasses up until about 1 pm, then switch to water.
Sometimes I'll have coffee on the weekends, but I don't tolerate like I used to. A new variety of tea is better. Chamomile is reserved for nighttime or if I have a cold.

If you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the character, you don't get to take part in the collaborative fiction. Just stop already. You don't know what you're doing. Mostly seltzer. I used to drink a TON of Diet Coke and I still love it, but have cut way down by using soda stream. It wasnāt intentional, just happened. I have issues with alcohol and my weight so I would not have gotten rid of a crutch that was working for secondary health (secondary because there is no way DC is as bad for me as an extra 30 pounds or a chronic alcohol abuse) or environmental reasons, but itās still nice that Iām producing fewer empties and not consuming as many chemicals. I also donāt care that much about looking trashy, but it is sort of a low rent look. I would hesitate before ordering Diet Coke in a decent restaurant if I was with someone I didnāt know very well. Vacationed in a rental recently so was drinking diet soda and seltzer and the number of empty cans was ridiculous. It was literally trashy.
I used to drink coffee all day, too, but my stomach canāt tolerate it as well anymore and I donāt sleep as well as I used to so now itās usually just one large mug first thing.
At work I drink water or cold herbal iced tea and the occasional hot caffeinated tea with milk.
