I stopped watching Marvel movies long time ago.

First the plots started getting worse.

Secondly, no matter cute, charming, or attractive the actor is, it got harder and harder for them to carry a movie that's so badly plotted.

I will admit, the Marvel series that were "failures" fared a lot better with the right actor. Krysten Ritter and her co-stars made that shit show highly entertaining.

And Charlie Carver and Co. did it for the first season of Daredevil.

Not so much after that.

And although Mike Colter is hot as fuck and he's one of my favorite actors on my favorite tv shows (Evil), I got nothing from Luke Cage, the series.

He seems to be lacking a crotch.

DC and Marvel both had characters named Captain Marvel. Fawcett comics created their version of Captain Marvel in the 40s. In either 1953 or 1954 DC sued Fawcett comics claiming that Captain Marvel was too similar to Superman. Fawcett ceased production on Captain Marvel after the lawsuit and eventually went out of business. Marvel comics in late 60s took advantage of this and created their Captain Marvel and trademarked the name. Which in turn forced DC who had purchased Fawcett's properties to change the character's name to SHAZAM so as not to get into a costly lawsuit with Marvel.

In promos for the movie, Zach Levi's face is a totally different color from his neck.

First of all, Zachary Levi's birth name is Zachary Levi Pugh - he was raised in a strongly Christian household. Wikipedia shows that he was married for less than 6 months: On June 16, 2014, Canadian actress Missy Peregrym announced that she and Levi had married in Maui, Hawaii. They filed for divorce in April 2015, with the separation date listed in court documents as December 3, 2014.

I actually think that picture made him look beefier and older. Also, I think we have some plastic faux muscles going on under that superhero bodysuit.

I saw him in "She Loves Me" on Broadway and he was a delightful musical theater leading man and sang really well. He might have made a better Harold Hill in "The Music Man" than Hugh Jackman.

I liked Zachary Levi in Chuck. It was a fun show and his brother-in-law, Captain Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) is a former DL heartthrob.

Watched him on BBC One's, "The One Show" with Dame Helen. The camera showed him sitting on the couch with his legs spread open and there was NO bulge. Must have small balls and dick. Also, his 10x Great Grandmother was accused of Witchcraft.

Given the complete revamp underway by Gunn at DC, I doubt that Shazam was ever going to get a third movie. Given that Gunn has reversed the decision to fire Ezra Miller (for now), it seems like he has a very specific plan in mind.
