There's "homo erotic" art and then there's "cartoon/drawn porn" like The Hun and others.

r122 I put gay in the tile as it does tend to go more to crude than the homoerotic. I thought about more traditional "art" but I find guys people don't appreciate it as much as I do. Sometimes it's just porn in another form as many greek sculptures show us or it's far more subtle... just a trick of light and shadow or extreme details to the areas in which most of our eyes are more prone to gaze.... like fashion shots and editorials.. candid documentary style... or just our normal posing for other men, gay/bi men seem to try for the most artistic or suggestive, communicating with visuals even when just looking for a hookup. But we live in a try too hard age.. where from critic to artist to consumer, we are all poseurs. Still, I'd likely have it next to drawn porn or perhaps even porn itself. . . well, if I saw something that connected it in whatever irrational narrative I thought I was creating. Some are quite artistic, though, yes, more is novelty. - there is a mixed media artist that blends the images of traditional art, porn and his own artistry, perhaps I'll recall which gallery he was at.

r122 What I like about drawn porn is the potential application into interactive media and entertainment... which is a place where it's more appreciated. It is a bit, funny, though. . . the higher preference for it over live action. It's possible to do it with the latter but few gamers are into it because it's quite expensive to do well and thus most games, interactive films, tend to be limited.
