The election was so close in the electoral college between Biden & Trump that it took until Saturday before the networks could call it. Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona & Georgia were all very close in 2020 and could be again in 2024.

Although Biden would probably be favored to beat Trump in 2024 if they are the 2 nominees, Democrats cannot get complacent owing to the fact that Republicans have a disproportionate advantage in the electoral college.
