Yes, dear. You need only look at the Peacock vs the Peahen to see that.

Opinion? Architecture, art, decorative arts, and music wore it better.

They didn’t call that Baroque in England, did they? More like “Restoration?”

"Tell us what your opinion about baroque fashions"
missing word?

Yes and no, R4. Art historians favor Baroque as a term for a style. Restoration is used more to describe a period in history. In England, the Baroque style occurred largely in the late phase of the Restoration.
There's usually overlap of styles and historical periods, for example the way people refer loosely to Victorian Style and Victorian Era.
But use either Baroque or Restoration and you won't be misunderstood in the UK.

J’adore Rococo style, and the postmodern subculture it inspired in Loli. But I don’t think that’s the same as Baroque, is it?

Not really, but was an outgrowth of it.

I HATE the wigs, but I love a lot of the ornate Baroque clothes. I wish that piles of brocade fabrics were part of everyday attire.
I went to a Ballets Russes exhibit at the Smithsonian years ago and the costumes were absolute works of art. The fabrics were so rich and intricate and detailed and mixed so many textures and finishes. I know that's a different style of clothing—costume, really—but I mean to comment on the appeal of the fabrics and fabrications.

I love the look but I remember reading somewhere that clothing back then was rarely washed.I bet they all stunk to high heaven, even dripping in lace and pearls .

God, it might have looked good, but it probably didn't smell good. The wigs probably didn't either. I do like the style, though.

Don’t forget this was a mini ice age - alluded to in “Orlando”- when folks began layering.
