He seems like a delicate little flower in his private life (nothing wrong with that!), so referring to him as daddy must be extra annoying for him.

The Twitter posts that treat him like an adorable fluffy pet are just as bad.

This is why I could never be in the public eye. You have to be too nice and accommodating to avoid "offending" a fan or 2...thousand and causing a scandal. I'm not a people person and have a very bad filter, so my poor PR person would never get a day off doing damage control if I had to deal with this kind of shit from the public.

It started out as a joke but Twitter has beaten it into the ground. Every time Pedro is interviewed it gets brought up.

I'm glad he's shutting it down. It's just tedious, and though he was very sweet for playing along with it at first, if he kept playing along with it it would make people get sick of him very quickly. It's just interviewers being lazy and cheap.

I really like him. He's one of the few stars that comes across as a real person.
