I'll start with the obvious. Tab Hunter
Who paid for Tab's crowns?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | February 28, 2023 7:55 PM |
I just don't have the energy to do this one again right now.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 28, 2023 7:55 PM |
Yeah, this is like the 30th thread on this same subject we've had over just the past couple of years. Are we supposed to just put the same pics on here we did on all the others?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 28, 2023 7:57 PM |
R2 I know I know you’re right, probably the 876th time this has been discussed, but I just really want to know beyond the obvious ones

[quote]I just really want to know beyond the obvious ones
o save us EGs time (we're running out of) and effort (of which reserves we've little), please list the "obvious ones" already discussed on the previous 876 threads.
And neither Tab Hunter nor Guy Madison fits that category.
I just really want to know beyond the obvious ones

OP has Alzheimers (although I hope not). Another thread on yesteryear actors.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 28, 2023 8:09 PM |
Not the obvious ones?! To heck with that.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 28, 2023 8:13 PM |
Love Monty. Beautiful and so, so messed up.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 28, 2023 8:13 PM |
Here's a "not obvious" one.
Dewey Martin, a hot little 1950s twunk who appeared in "The Thing" and was briefly married to drunk chanteuse Peggy Lee.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 28, 2023 8:17 PM |
Jorge Rivero. A hot piece of Latino ass from the 60s who starred as Adam in "The Sin of Adam and Eve."
I'd have gladly sinned with him.

R7 Just hoping to tap that EG knowledge and refined taste before the aforementioned time runs out. "Obvious" to me is Paul Newman, Gregory Peck, Rock Hudson, James Dean, Marlon Brando.
Guy Madison and Dewey Martin have been worth it for this admittedly overdone thread, and any opportunity to gaze upon Monty. One more time EGs please, one more time, I can't read about SAG 2023 anymore.

Ed Fury, muscle magazine model and star of a lot of low budget 1950s sword and sandal movies.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 28, 2023 8:53 PM |
Speaking of sword and sandal, Mark Forest, another bodybuilder-turned-actor who did a lot of cheesy gladiator movies in the 50s and 60s and was frequently in nothing more than a loincloth.

Is now a weekly thread?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 28, 2023 9:05 PM |
Thank you for very recently posting the gorgeous (still living) hottie known as Jorge Rivero! I've previously added mention of him into other threads here and feel that Rivero has been overlooked far too much in view of his off-the-charts 'hotness' factor.
It wasn't until the mid 1980's when I saw him bare-chested in a flick on a Spanish language tv network that I took a quick better look and realized that I'd first seen him a number of years earlier when I was in high school when Rivero did the big budget western titled Rio Lobo that starred John Wayne and others.

More Jorge. Bad 1960s daytime talk show host hair, but a fucking hot body.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 28, 2023 10:41 PM |
R16 Wow. Ed Fury's still alive. He'll be 95 in June.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 28, 2023 10:45 PM |
George O'Brien. I saw him in the movie "Sunrise" from 1927 on TCM a few months back and thought he was stunning.
He had a kind of Ryan Gosling look about him.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 28, 2023 10:48 PM |
No, R24. You are are on the Obvious List, R14.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 28, 2023 11:02 PM |
R26 Quite the bulge!

Alcibiades
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 28, 2023 11:36 PM |
I didn't even know Ed Fury was an actor, that he had some bit parts. I assumed he only did modeling for photographers. I can't complain. He's awfully beautiful and sexy.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 28, 2023 11:39 PM |
Oops, can't read. Fury starred in some movies too.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 28, 2023 11:41 PM |
Ed 'Fury' = Ed Herschlag
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 28, 2023 11:55 PM |
I got wise a few years ago and came to the conclusion that Jorge Rivero's 'helmet hair' was hhb, i.e. 'hair he bought' and not the real thing.
So that's how that even now his silver white hair is pretty much as thick as ever and styled similarly.

On the non-obvious list would be Paul Mantee, who only had two starring roles in his life, including "Robinson Crusoe on Mars" and Larry Pennell, who was in many B-films of the Sixties, but is best remembered for playing Dash Riprock on "Beverly Hillbillies".
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 1, 2023 3:31 AM |
Ah yes: Larry Pennell of the skydiving show Ripcord, which I vaguely remember little of except his face, his sexy-looking fully clothes body and a lot of parachutes!
Note in the lengthy material and among the pics found at the link below that a photo of Burt Reynolds reveals hair that looks suspiciously like a hairpiece.

R26 George has two got mega-penises down there.
He can roll down the waist-band but it wont hide that mega-bulge.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | March 1, 2023 3:49 AM |
Eddie showing off his chest. Love all the leg that the men are showing.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | March 1, 2023 4:39 AM |
R34. Hot bod, kind of nerdy face. My kind of guy.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 1, 2023 12:17 PM |
R37 I had no idea Rod Taylor had been in a sword and sandal shitfest.
That opening scene of all the guys wrestling with each other was hot.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 1, 2023 12:22 PM |
Cal Bolder. One of Henry Willson's stable boys.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | March 1, 2023 12:24 PM |
R12 Dewey Martin was also in the 1952 Western "The Big Sky" with Kirk Douglas. An incredibly homoerotic movie, and I'm not convinced the homoeroticism was unintentional.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 1, 2023 4:31 PM |
Taylor looks cute in his skimpy toga, R42. And to think only three years later, he'd be starring in "The Birds".
I've only watched a bit of "Colossus and the Amazon Queen". It looks like it's beyond awful. I just quickly skim through it, looking for male eye candy.
