They are like C list everywhere. I’m 35 & I don’t know a single straight adult who watched HS not who would know who Joe & Kit are bar possibly, oh they were in that queer show that was on Gogglebox. My queer friends watched it with me & the general consensus was it’s cute but more a show for teenagers. I work with 16-18 years olds and only the queer identifying ones have any clue about HS (and to be fair, some are completely obsessed with it). Something like Wednesday or Stranger Things is FAR more popular, as are the actors involved.

HS is great & I'm sure some of them will go on to be very successful. But their fame is currently pretty limited to a niche group of queer young people & few adult old gays like me who try keep up with GenZ to make me better at my job!
