I never met Boy George in private but I saw him/heard him at a really small venue in Nürnberg (the ruins of St Katharine church) in the early 90's when he was touring with his Hare Krishna guys. What I find ironic about the Sam Smiths of the world is that their eagerness to show everyone their 'non-binary fabulousness' and whatnot comes off as an escape from being just a gay man. I don't know if they think that being gay is too orthodox these days or that we've become oppressive to them (see all this blaming "cis gay men" for everything). If they really want to opt out of our 'club', that's OK I suppose, but they should forfeit the right to speak for us from now on (e.g. trying to declare who did or did not give us our rights).

I also am surprised the non-binaries don't get more blowback from the trans, when the NBs want just as much acclaim as the Ts, despite putting in 10% of the effort. Say what you will about the Trans, but taking hormones and going through the surgeries does take a certain level of commitment and sacrifice that the non-binaries will never have. Sam, Alok or Jacob have not taken and never will take a single estrogen shot or go through any surgery.

Sam Smith has internalised homophobia and is a sexist and a misogynist.

He believes in strict gender roles as shown by his comments - he has women's breasts, women's hips, there's a vivacious woman inside him when he dances, he wants to have kids and be a mummy.
