R1, they cannot afford to hire all those people. There was already word that the network wanted to get rid of the show. This finally gave them an excuse. It’s his show. They would have to continue paying him.

What word, where? 'Rick and Morty' is currently the most successful thing Adult Swim has got.
I think it's premature. "Charges" are insufficient reason. They should at least wait for the outcome of the trial before deciding what they want to do.
R3 has a bit of a point. The overall demographics of 'Rick and Morty' fandom aren't likely to lose their shit over domestic abuse; it probably would not be a breaking point with them. Whoever is in charge of making this kind of call on behalf of Adult Swim programming probably isn't a fan of 'Rick and Morty' to begin with, and may not really understand or care about the impact this will have on the continued success of the show, or Adult Swim's viewership.
