Angela Lansbury in a Bitchy Role - A LIFE AT STAKE (1955)
Little potboiler with Angie as Doris, a married femme fatale who snags Keith Andes in a real estate scheme. Not the best movie, but it's interesting to see Angela in a role like this, an object of desire and a bitch. I know she has played bitchy roles before, as as an object of desire?

As Spencer Tracy's puppet master-lover in "State of the Union." She was only 21 when it started filming, but you'd never know it.

Yes, R2, she was cast in many older roles because of her unusually mature face. She even played Elvis Presley's mom in one of his terrible movies.
But if you watch the film I posted, you also get to see a shirtless Keith Andes, more than once...

OP, you never saw her in the Manchurian Candidate or The World of Henry Orient? She is excellent in both.
