Steven Weber used to write these both-sides op-eds for HuffPo, doing the grifter shtick of claiming to be a leftist but making a lot of rightwing points. He had a huge meltdown when Andrew Breitbart died, he claimed they were friends and he was angry at people calling Breitbart names. He wrote one or two op-eds on websites about it and tweeted about it constantly, calling people names and insulting them left and right, while saying no one should be allowed to insult Breitbart for any reason.

Unfortunately for him, people pointed out that in a previous HuffPo piece, he'd said he'd only met Andrew Breitbart once. They weren't friends but he was pretending like they were. Not long after, his Twitter went dark. He came back a few years later, pretended to be liberal, then disappeared again about 2019 or so.

If Finn Carter looks like hell, I have to think that living with THAT has something to do with it.

It doesn't look like she was charged, at least I can't find any public record of it. It's possible she took a car and credit card from a boyfriend or friend or relative when she didn't ask permission and they dropped the charges once they got their stuff back.

I half suspect Weber was more interested in fighting people online than he was in politics. One of his old tweets, now long gone, was of him bragging about irritating costars with political talk between scenes. I do know that the stuff he'd posted in the last few years was far less both-sides than it used to be, so maybe he had a change of heart, or maybe all that HuffPo both-sides stuff was trolling.
