One of my favorites is a very minor character on Dallas. Lucy's friend Muriel.
She was such a NERD. She reminded me of a modern day version of Miss Wilder from Little House On The Prairie- who was another minor character that I really liked.

Not strictly minor, but I'd still say she fits the question: Roxanne Melman, LA Law. One of my favorite TV characters ever.

If I get much older, I hope I end up like her -- a dotty, benevolent old gurl.
