Thanks to DL, I watched this tonight. The trailer is much tighter than the movie, which swings back and forth between mildly scary and high camp. It's very gay. The protagonists are a small town bottom heading to LA to be a gay porn star and his straight best friend who only has eyes for him. The villain could be a true DLer - a lisping, hissing, pyscho elder gay. There is no need to worry about straight men playing gay characters here.

I was on the fence about watching this, but I saw Jena Malone was in it. She's always good as the angry, crazy bitch and I have seen her in a lot of very interesting, indy roles. I honestly don't know how she got involved in this movie. She looks like Meryl next to the rest of the cast. Intense fisting is involved and the bottom (last girl) fists himself while wearing skimpy tightie whities without a drop spilled on them in the process. It was not boring, I will say that. I can't say that I highly recommend but I'd rather pay the money to support something like this than Bros. Lots of cock and ass shots throughout.

So I watched that Exploited movie. It was free on Roku. Some cute guys (the dark haired wrestler roommate was the cutest) and the annoying daughter from The Good Wife. Not even a B movie, more like a C or D, but a passable way to spend a Sunday morning.

I liked it because even though it might be called "queer" from a marketing perspective, this was 100% about gay men. It was gay values: hard bodies, large cocks, dreams of onlyfans stardom. There was not a hint of gender confusion, and realistic casting. The story is completely buyable (minus keeping those white undies so pristine). A lot of gay men love horror and I think it's a genre we can do fairly well. They are much better than gay films vs. a film that happens to have gay characters.

Anyone who wants to take horror with gay characters to the next level, I recommend the French extreme film, "High Tension". The good news, the stars are gay. The bay news, they are lesbians. Regardless, it's an awesome mind fuck of a movie.

Just saw it today. What a stupid fucking movie. He didn't swallow drugs, they were live animals that hatched? FUCKING STUPID. The acting was atrocious and there was very little nudity and no sex. No gay love story. This movie sucked ass.

I think it could have been better if the villain were not Mark Patton (who was truly atrocious). The ending turned the whole concept into camp. He just shoots Jena Malone with really no reason and we don't even get to see it. I think the ending was orchestrated as a vehicle to highlight the fisting and nude scenes. Also, why in every hour film does the final girl or guy hit the killer over the head and then run off, dropping the weapon. I would bash their brains in or keep shooting them until there was no way they could come back. And then take the weapon with me as I ran off.

I like gay movies with gay love stories. This didn't have that. It felt very "hollow". Couldn't they have included a gay love story? And no, him having a crush on his straight friend doesn't count. Exploited did it a million times better. Exploited was also a camp gay thriller, but it included a very cute and romantic gay love story. It also had more hot guys than Swallowed.

A “producer” approached me about auditioning for a project he called SWALLOWED. The writer was also in the hotel room, but no script. They wanted to “improvise” instead.
