Saturday and Sundays games were pretty intense! I’m excited for tonight. Dallas versus Tampa Bay. This might be Tom Brady‘s last game ever! The game starts in less than two hours so TuneIn!

I like Tom Brady. His team just doesn't have very good receivers. I think he might look at another team that does have receivers next year - but who knows?

I like him, but wish he had a nicer ass.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 16, 2023 11:25 PM |
He'll be back next year, no question. He didn't go through all that with Gisele for nothing. He's looking at other team options, like Tennessee and the Raiders, allegedly.
If he plays until he's 48 or 49, I wouldn't be surprised.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 16, 2023 11:27 PM |
Why isn’t he staying with his current team?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 16, 2023 11:28 PM |
His contract is up and he's tired of the lack of receivers and weak offensive line in Tampa.

Tampa Bay shitting the bed (last gasp by Mr Brady won't do a thing)
He never should have unretired and come back this year. A stain on his legacy.
Niners are going to the Super Bowl this year... but KC will likely win

Brady is washed. It'll be interesting to see which team he goes to next year, if any.
I'm an underdog fan.. I'm hoping the Jags make it (highly improbable) but outside of that, I wouldn't mind the Bills winning it all (as someone who remembers all those SB losses).

by Anonymous | reply 40 | January 17, 2023 5:32 AM |
The Vikings got upset - unsurprisingly. They were 13-4, division champs, but a negative point differential on the season - won a LOT of close games. I knew they were fucked when in the second-to-last game of the season, they got stomped by the Packers, seemingly saying, once they got behind, "we've already secured out playoff spot, why stress." Because it's your hated rival and you would help keep them out of the playoffs. If they couldn't be bothered by that occasion, it doesn't surprise me that they laid an egg vs. the Giants - who played very well, but still.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | January 17, 2023 5:43 AM |
Loved Tom Brady's skill - too bad he returned for a subpar year. Bummed that Dallas won. Mahomes wife is repulsive. Burrow needs to be taken down.
There is my stream of thoughts.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | January 17, 2023 10:17 AM |
R42 Tampa was a horrible team this year: the offensive line decimated, the defense sucked, no running game at all - and Brady (whom I've mostly hated over the years) responded by completing more passes than any season in his career. The fucker is still really, really good. I am loathe to admit it, but he is the GOAT... no question.
I think his decision to continue is mysterious at this point, but I think the divorce makes it more likely he'll play another year. It's really quite absurd - a 46 year old professional QB? But he had 490 completions and 4700 yards this season - with a bad team. I look for him to play with the Raiders next year.
This year the Niners and Chiefs will be in the Super Bowl and (unfortunately) the Chiefs will win.

by Anonymous | reply 44 | January 17, 2023 4:15 PM |
R43, you are correct—I’d venture to say that Brady is still a top ten—maybe top five—QB. If anything, his season proves how much you need a good team around you to excel. I think he should play as long as he feels healthy. But I wonder how much pounding his body tok this year, with that crappy offensive line.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | January 17, 2023 4:18 PM |
R44 Good catche.

by Anonymous | reply 49 | January 17, 2023 8:57 PM |
I would bury my whole face in there and not come out until he came hands free.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | January 17, 2023 10:23 PM |
Great post r43. You don't need to be a Brady fan to appreciate that he's still very good and has solid playing skills, which is amazing given his age (he'll be 46 this summer). He still completed nearly 5,000 yards last year, and broke his own league completions per season record while ranking 3rd in passing yards behind Mahomes and Justin Herbert. It was the team around him that was a big problem, not the QB.
He will be back next year - he didn't get divorced and go through all that trouble for nothing - and there are teams who will sign him. The Titans are supposed to be interested as are the Raiders. He'll want to be with a team that will give him the weapons needed to win, receivers he can work with and a strong O-line to protect him.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | January 17, 2023 11:40 PM |

The Chiefs are gonna come out flat.
The Jags have the mental-game enthusiasm edge, still high after that stunning, underdog slays Goliath come-back over the Chargers.
The Jags will be winning during the 3rd quarter, but then...inertia, skill and "Holy Shit, let's put it in gear" by the Chiefs will take over and they'll eke out a win over the Jags.
That's not what I want to see, but that's what will happen.
Same with the Giants and Eagles.
I have no idea what will happen in tomorrow's two main events.
But my ass will be on my Barca-lounger, eyes glued to the screen.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | January 21, 2023 12:48 PM |

Game isn’t over yet, r60. With Mahomes out for now, I am not counting Jacksonville out. But that sub for KC is not looking too bad.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | January 21, 2023 9:37 PM |
R61 It's so subjective, isn't it? A matter of taste (smell, color of hair, the nape of the neck, the hollow at the lower back, just above the rounded curve... oh, wait... ahem). So here's a primer, of starting QBs in the teams that are left.
Brock Purdy, 49ers
Daniel Jones, Giants
Josh Allen, Buffalo
Jalen Hurts, Philly
Joe Burrows, Cincinnati
Patrick Mahomes, KC
Dak Prescott, Cowcunts
Trevor Lawrence, Jax
by Anonymous | reply 63 | January 21, 2023 9:53 PM |
Thanks, R63

by Anonymous | reply 65 | January 21, 2023 9:55 PM |
Sweet Jesus that Jalen Hurts guy is gorgeous. And the Brock boy is cute as a button. Joe Burrows is hotish but he looks like white trash and the male version of a mean girl in high school.

I love it how Nelly queens think most good looking athletes are gay .
by Anonymous | reply 67 | January 21, 2023 10:00 PM |
R67 I suspect gay guys in general think that: I suspect "nelly queen" is something a little dated that's left in your vocabularly.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | January 21, 2023 10:04 PM |
R68, this probably stems with the secret crushes we had on the jocks in junior high and high school. We worshipped them .

^ I had one in high school I thought I was in love with and he would have me blow him 2-3 a week. But he treated me like shit at school and in public but one on one he was super nice and subservient trying to please me. It was like I controlled the friendship in private but publicly I was shit to him. It was weird and hurtful at the time but I eventually figured out I need to get way from him.

Jalen Hurts is a hottie hot! Trevor Lawrence is for the hippies!
by Anonymous | reply 72 | January 21, 2023 11:27 PM |
Meant to say—both Jalen and Trevor are heads and shoulders above everyone else. Mahomes is third. But it looks like Jacksonville is almost done.

There is no way in hell that the 49’ers will EVER be “America’s” anything.
Poor deluded creature.

Mahomes and his wife are both fugs. I think there will be some scandal a few years from now where he's caught cheating on her and divorce/custody drama ensues.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | January 21, 2023 11:47 PM |
[quote] And I’m not being facetious, I really do wonder.
R74 It was a fluke. If you stop wondering and read something you would know how random it was. The guy editing an NFL team claimed to notice that there were fans in the crowd wearing Cowboys merch no matter where Dallas was playing. He 'wondered' if that was something he could use so he came up with America's Team. Every broadcaster loves a nickname, meaningless as it may be, so it stuck.
I was the one being facetious when I said the Niners would soon be America's team. Nobody here wants that stupid label in 2023.

by Anonymous | reply 147 | January 29, 2023 10:35 PM |
They’re not even together anymore, R146.
One of the last few regular season games I saw Moose with some other play-by-play guy.
Kenny was announcing some other sport that I can’t even remember what it was. Far, far away from football. Didn’t he do something wrong? He got in trouble or something.
I liked Moose and Kenny because they frequently did Cowboy games. If course Moose knew all about the ‘Boys.
by Anonymous | reply 148 | January 29, 2023 10:39 PM |
I know they’re not together, R148, but I think Kenny still calls football games. So he wasn’t sidelined due to some controversy. They just don’t broadcast together anymore. Maybe they don’t like each other.
It’s a shame cause I always wanted Buck and Aikman gone so Kenny and Moose would be #1, now it happens and instead Fox elevates two guys whose voices I don’t even recognize.

R123, I owe you an apology.
I will say this though, if you came in here and said the Eagles by 24, I would’ve said you’re kooky. Did NOT expect the Niners not to show up.

The young ‘un might be too green still.
by Anonymous | reply 151 | January 29, 2023 11:56 PM |
Ugh, the fucking Chiefs won. I hope Eagles win the SB.
by Anonymous | reply 152 | January 30, 2023 2:04 AM |
Damn.
by Anonymous | reply 153 | January 30, 2023 2:07 AM |
R150 no need to apologize. It was just a guess to the best of my knowledge. I’m still surprised they won by so much but then again 9ers were using their fourth string quarterback for a while!
I was wrong about the Bengals winning. It was a close game though! I know it sounds weird but now I’m going to root for the Eagles! Tired of all the hype around the Chiefs, Mahomes, and Kelce. I like Jalen Hurts and would like to see him win the Super Bowl. Also, how will the Kelce parents pick a team to root for?

Why does Bradley Cooper look like a lesbian?
by Anonymous | reply 155 | January 30, 2023 2:39 AM |
The Niners were snakebitten... that first drive with the incomplete pass - it should have been challenged. The Eagles receiver rushing to get the next play run before review, the Niners coaching staff should have known it was incomplete and challenged it immediately. It was all downhill from there. You can't win without a viable QB.
I don't like either the Eagles or Chiefs. I don't have much interest in this Super Bowl.

[QUOTE]The Niners were snakebitten... that first drive with the incomplete pass - it should have been challenged. The Eagles receiver rushing to get the next play run before review, the Niners coaching staff should have known it was incomplete and challenged it immediately.
That’s not being snakebitten, that’s incompetence on behalf of the 49ers head coach.
[QUOTE]I don't have much interest in this Super Bowl.
You are in a small minority. Most people can’t wait for this game, and it will be one of the most highly rated Super Bowls in recent memory.
by Anonymous | reply 157 | January 30, 2023 4:00 PM |
R157 Not concerned with being aligned to "most people"... although I suspect it won't be "most highly rated" in recent history. Not sure what you even mean by "highly rated"... the quality of the teams, viewership, the halftime show??
Snakebitten referred to much more than the coaching staff not throwing a red flag to challenge... how about the QB getting his arm insured so he can't throw a pass, then the 4th string QB getting a concussion and leaving the game, three fumbles losing them all, 11 penalties (compared to 4 for Philly), 11 first downs for SF (no QB, no offense, meant Philly ran twice as many plays, the SF defense on the field a loooooong time). Yeah, nothing much.
by Anonymous | reply 158 | January 30, 2023 4:21 PM |
R158, the penalties against the 49ers were pretty much all warranted. Many of them were incredibly blatant. They weren’t snake bitten re losing their QB. Their coaching blew it. They had a backup TE blocking a guy with the most sacks this year. Fumbles are not snake bitten. Don’t lose the ball, thats what every player coach knows. Turnovers cost games. The Eagles had none.
My big complain about the 49ers is that they should have moved mountains to get an experienced QB after their top two went down. That poor QB Johnson is a journeyman QB who’s never even played in the playoffs. If Purdy had played uninsured, the result might have been closer but the Eagles still would have won the game.

Meant to say player and coach at r159.
by Anonymous | reply 160 | January 30, 2023 4:32 PM |
Good lord, a few more corrections at my post at r159. “Complaint” and “uninjured”.
by Anonymous | reply 161 | January 30, 2023 4:35 PM |
Eagles cheated. That first drive the receiver didn't catch the pass... and knew it. And they rushed to get another play off. Cheaters. But that's on brand for Philly, isn't it?
by Anonymous | reply 162 | January 30, 2023 4:38 PM |
R162, too bad about those Cowboys. Or Giants. Doesn’t matter. They’re home.
by Anonymous | reply 163 | January 30, 2023 4:54 PM |
Cheating? Yeah, right. Must be your first time watching sports.
A bad call and every team in that situation would do what the Eagles did.
by Anonymous | reply 164 | January 30, 2023 4:59 PM |
Hurts is easy to like. And Nick Sirianni is a smart and fearless coach.
by Anonymous | reply 165 | January 30, 2023 5:01 PM |
Agree r164. The Eagles have never been known for cheating.
by Anonymous | reply 166 | January 30, 2023 5:19 PM |
Sirianni smells like moldy bread and bad breath. Hurts is a good guy, yeah.
R164 Duh. At least you admit it was a bad call. Of the 11 Niner penalties at least half were pretty obvious and stupid... but a lot of them weren't. I think if you watch any given play in the NFL in slow motion you can find holding. It's really confusing now when it is and when it isn't called. What the fuck is holding now? That the Refs influenced the outcome of a game is never a good thing.
by Anonymous | reply 167 | January 30, 2023 5:21 PM |
R167, Sirianni could smell like rotting pus and it doesn’t matter. A winner is a winner.
by Anonymous | reply 168 | January 30, 2023 5:41 PM |
Kelce looked like a douchebag calling out the mayor of Cincinnati.
Did he expect the mayor to say, “I hope the eagles win”? Of course he’s going to root for his team. And every mayor in these cities have “bets” with their opponents. It happens all the time.
by Anonymous | reply 169 | January 30, 2023 5:42 PM |
The team with the sexiest quarterback will win the Super Bowl!
by Anonymous | reply 170 | January 30, 2023 7:56 PM |
The Eagles are my team's arch rivals, but even I can admit that one bad call does not a cheater make. The Eagles are just dominant this season, both their players and their coaching staff. Plus, they're mostly cool headed. Many of the 49ers are hot heads and the coaching staff seemingly encourage that behavior, or at least do not sufficiently counsel against such behavior.
by Anonymous | reply 171 | January 30, 2023 8:16 PM |
I hate the Eagles but I hope they beat the Chiefs in a rout if only to silence the announcers and everyone else in the league slobbers all over Mahomes like he is the second coming of Christ. He is a great QB but he only brought it home once. Him and his walrus coach are everywhere and they just need to go away.
by Anonymous | reply 172 | January 30, 2023 8:23 PM |
Andy Reid is a lovely father. One of his sons was in a maximum security prison and eventually died (OD maybe).
The other is on his staff and drove home blind drunk and hit a little girl, who will have problems for life, and son’s sentence is lighter than it should be because dad is a Kansas City hero.

Oh, dear!
by Anonymous | reply 174 | January 30, 2023 9:32 PM |
R173, the son that died was never in prison. The son who was a coach on the Chiefs is going to prison for driving drunk, like you point out. It’s weird, Reid is supposedly a great guy, really liked by his teams. His other three kids turned out ok, but the two sons that didn’t definitely have some demons.
by Anonymous | reply 175 | January 30, 2023 9:37 PM |
Oops sorry, I was wrong at my post at r175. The son that died did spend time in prison. Mea Culpa.

I'm just glad that neither Tom Brady nor the Cowboys will be in the Super Bowl
by Anonymous | reply 177 | January 30, 2023 9:42 PM |
R173 he probably wasn’t a bad father. More like an absent father. Being a head coach in the NFL is an all consuming job!
by Anonymous | reply 178 | January 30, 2023 10:04 PM |
And if anyone knows about consuming all, it’s Andy.

by Anonymous | reply 184 | February 1, 2023 8:04 PM |
This Super Bowl will generate no excitement because the two teams, especially KC, are boring at this point. They would have done better with Cincinnati or Buffalo playing. Josh Allen is cute and has the whole backstory of being raised on a farm in CA and nobody recruiting him so he started at community college. Burrow is apparently the new Tom Brady as far as attention, including female. Now they’re stuck with Mahomes’ annoying wife and brother.
by Anonymous | reply 185 | February 4, 2023 6:54 PM |
If you think the NFL would prefer Josh Allen over Patrick Mahomes in this Super Bowl, R185, then you should have your head examined. This is the matchup they wanted.
by Anonymous | reply 186 | February 4, 2023 7:43 PM |
Hah, you’re assuming the country cares about cute QB’s like we do, r185. They don’t, although Jalen Hurts is a very handsome guy and has a great story if he wins. To me, Patrick Mahomes is not remotely cute, but he’s either worshipped as the best QB in football today or he’s being vilified and hated, sort of like how Tom Brady came to be perceived.
It’s a great matchup football-wise, much better than the other two teams you mentioned.
by Anonymous | reply 187 | February 4, 2023 7:47 PM |
The Super Bowl always ends up generating excitement just by nature of being a major American event. People tune in no matter who’s playing.
by Anonymous | reply 188 | February 4, 2023 8:56 PM |
R186, Nope. It was widely reported during that playoffs that the NFL wanted Buffalo in the SB. The whole Damar Hamlin thing, the blizzards etc... it makes a good story. Neither the Bills nor the Bengals have ever won a Super Bowl. That’s more exciting to the casual fan and most were rooting for one of them to get in over KS. As for looks, I’m not on TikTok, but I heard Burrow was huge on there during the playoffs. Of course the NFL wants to appeal to the masses. People are bored of Mahomes and KS.
by Anonymous | reply 189 | February 4, 2023 10:57 PM |
R189, yes, people say they’re bored with Mahomes, but no one cares about the Bills or Bengals except in their respective cities. Buffalo was an intriguing story because of Hamlin, but other than that, no way the NFL prefers them. Casual fans don’t matter, they all tune in anyway.
Mahomes is interesting because he has a love/hate thing going. Just like Brady, people will tune in to root for or against him. A former colleague works for the NFLPA and I hear tidbits like this. It is true that people were rooting for the Bills because of the adversities they experienced but it wasn’t something that was researched or validated.
by Anonymous | reply 190 | February 4, 2023 11:42 PM |
Andy Reid going against the Eagles in a Super Bowl is the type of shit the NFL can’t buy. You couldn’t script it any better. I’m still shocked that it’s happening What are the odds? You’d almost think the NFL rigged it on purpose.
