(Again, why are there no out male tennis players?)
The Guardian:
"In a number of interviews broadcast on YouTube in July, Kasatkina criticised her country’s invasion and war in Ukraine. At the same time, she came out as gay, another brave move. Knowing the danger of her words, and the potential implications back home, she went ahead anyway, describing the war as a nightmare and criticising her country’s attitude to homosexuality.
It was a huge risk, but one Kasatkina felt was worth taking. In a small interview room inside Melbourne Park on Monday, she explained why continues to speak out, even if it means she is unable to see her family. “Of course I’m worried,” she said. “I have so many friends and people I know from Ukraine and hearing the stories, what they’re telling me. It’s painful because I’m thinking, imagine if I’m in their spot.
“It’s very tough. And it’s been almost a year living in these circumstances. I want this to end soon as possible, but unfortunately it’s not depending on us. They’re my friends and I want to show them love and support because it’s very tough. For them, it’s more difficult.”
Kasatkina was able to see her mother a month ago during pre-season training, but she has not seen her father for two years. For the moment, there is no way she can risk going home. “You never know how the situation is going to turn out. But I realise that you don’t have to look too forward because you don’t know what’s going to be around the corner. You don’t know what’s going to be tomorrow.
“For most people, it’s important to have the support of family, of friends. It’s been tough because … my friends, my family, they couldn’t travel, first because of Covid, then the war.
“It’s difficult that I cannot see the people I love, often. Actually, I can see them almost never. I didn’t see my father for two years. But it’s what it is. It’s life, unfortunately. I have to say thanks that it’s not a worse scenario. I’m just happy they’re healthy and I have them.”
Kasatkina also knew her announcement that she is in a relationship with Natalia Zabiiako, a professional figure skater, would not be well received in Russia, where homophobia is common and freedoms are restricted. What she didn’t know was how positive the reaction would be from her fellow players. “That was great because I didn’t face any negativity, especially from the people I know,” she said.
“This topic is very sensitive, so I was ready for some negative reaction, but there was nothing like that. I’m very thankful because that makes me feel so good. Some of the players were coming to me, sometimes they’re still coming to me, to say ‘yeah, it’s cool’ or ‘congrats’ to me. That’s nice.”
There must have been a danger that by speaking out on Russia and coming out as gay would make life difficult for Kasatkina on the court. But instead, it had the opposite effect. “To be honest, it helped me,” she said. “I felt less pressure. I put this pressure out of my shoulders because when you have to think about tennis but also to think about some deep things inside your head, it’s just not good.
“I remember after saying all these things, I just felt much better. That was one of the best decisions of the last year and I’m happy with the outcome. And thanks to the people who were next to me supporting me.”
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 16, 2023 7:25 PM |
Thanks for that, r24. I hope the gay ATP (and, why not?, the PTPA players) read that and feel ashamed of themselves for not coming out.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | January 16, 2023 8:52 PM |
R25, Kasatkina is an unusually brave and thoughtful person. Unfortunately, I suspect most players live cocooned lifes and just don't think that deeply about the outside world.

Apparently not many given the dearth of responses. I think the main reason tennis threads and other multi-part threads are paywalled is to "encourage" people to subscribe and pay. It doesn't seem to work as a tactic.

FAA is more handsome. Tiafoe is hotter. Not that we need to be comparing black players only. Tiafoe has classic black man high ass. Giron has more feminine "donk" but still hot. I actually think Nakashima is pretty good looking. Fritz is usually not my type at all. Thin, fratty, no facial hair white guys are definitely NOT my thing - usually. But Fritz is hot to me in a way.

"Robin Haase was laying in bed at his Adelaide hotel on Tuesday afternoon, waiting to head to Memorial Drive for a 2:15 p.m. lunch before a 4:30 p.m. practice ahead of an evening doubles match at the Adelaide International 2.
That was when the Dutchman received a big surprise. The ATP tour manager on site called to ask the 35-year-old if he could make it to the venue by 2 p.m. to take a lucky loser spot in the singles draw. On Monday, he had lost in the final round of qualifying to Tomas Martin Etcheverry in straight sets.
By the moment Haase looked at the time, he had four minutes.
“I was [the] second lucky loser [on the day’s list] and so of course there was actually no chance to get in because everyone is here. If by any chance there was someone, then it would be one and I was second. So I was lucky that he couldn’t play,” Haase told ATPTour.com. “And then I had to rush. It’s four minutes before the match…
Not only did he make it; he won 7-6 in the 3rd for his first ATP main draw win in 2 years."

Nadal's level of play has been appalling since last summer He played 12 matches since Wimbledon won 4 of those and lost in 8 other, showing a W/L ratio of 0.5. He's not going to be the favorite or - gasp! - even a favorite at Roland Garros, if he keeps playing like that. But McDonald was relentless and played his game perfectly. It looks like chaos on the outside courts. It's taken more than 24 hours for Gasquet and the UGOAT to complete a set due to the rain delays.
If they don't get at least a couple of matches completed on each of the outside courts today, their scheduling is going to be a nightmare for the rest of the week, and possibly into the next.
by Anonymous | reply 128 | January 18, 2023 5:54 AM |
Once they get to the fourth round (round of 16) and even more so the quarterfinals it doesn't matter much because they have the three indoor courts and they can play all the matches inside. Tough that only covers it for singles - still doubles, mixed, boys and girls divisions.
Slams not that long ago had no covered courts or only one covered court and there would be terrible weather the first week and the schedule would get backlogged. But, it would eventually sort itself out. Of course now, people aren't anywhere near as patient or go-with-the-flow, so it all becomes a world-ending crisis. Some players get screwed because of the amended schedule, but that's always been the case.

Rafa was on his way to losing even before he got injured.
Not sure what the answers are. I guess he should keep playing if he loves competing. But as the biggest Rafa fan on the planet? It's really tough to watch him the last six months. Especially after how amazing his first half of 2022 was.
But that's aging, isn't it? It's a bitch for us all. Even world class athletes.

I'm sure he'll skip the spring hard court Masters (Indian Wells, Miami), heal up as best he can and try to make a final stab at Roland Garros. Maybe play two or three warm-up clay tournaments before then.

Poor Nadal
by Anonymous | reply 137 | January 18, 2023 10:41 AM |
For anyone who thinks Nadal isn't in a lavender marriage, look at this clip of his family at 3:30. His sister, father, "physio", coaches, all worried. The wife has an obvious grin, totally relaxed, texting someone, not paying attention to the treatment and it appears that she and the sister have matching wedding rings.
Face it, if their love was real it would be touted as the greatest love story in tennis. The only woman he ever loved. "They met at 13, his sister's best friend, Rafa saw her across a crowded room. He told his friends, Pico, Pato, and Pene, that she was the girl he was going to marry" Instead, we have 5 years of "she's just a friend" to "she's a friend of the family" to "she's private" to "she does her own thing". She's a banker, an insurance agent, a student, she works for the foundation. She doesn't appear to be shy about anything except media questions.
The wife and baby were in intensive care, fighting for their lives and he was at a gay dinner with his friends in NY. The media reported that Rafa's sister was with the wife in the hospital. ???.

I don't mind Tiafoe's outfit and think he's sort of pulling it off. I like that he committed to the whole outfit. Different pieces of Nike's AO line is being worn by many players. Most opt for the Jackson Pollock print top OR shorts/skirt, but not both. 90% of tennis clothing is staid, which is fine. But a few players occasionally having some fashion fun, even if the results are "WTF?" is something I enjoy.

He took advantage of opened-up draws to make two Slam finals (and he did play well at times) - that's huge points. Alas, his No. 2 ranking - for now. He's only ever won 250-level tournaments on the main ATP tour - which is surprising given his two Slam finals.

by Anonymous | reply 301 | January 20, 2023 5:56 AM |
R298 - the ugliness, the total dependence on his box, the formulaic fist pumping. Sinner could on the bus on the way to prison and he'd be pumping his damn fist. But, again, I recognize that he's massively talented.
by Anonymous | reply 302 | January 20, 2023 6:00 AM |
From the right angle, Sinner is quite lovely. He'll grow up to be a handsome man.

R303 if by 'the right angle' you mean with the help of the world's best stylists, make-up artists and lighting, il Gingio can look vaguely non-horrific... then yeah!

Tall as a tree and the body is seriously tight.
by Anonymous | reply 307 | January 20, 2023 7:20 AM |
Hubie - nice and adorkable triumphs over hot but dumb and angry for me. However, of Hubie does come out as full on deplorable I could potentially swing the other way.
by Anonymous | reply 310 | January 20, 2023 7:38 AM |
Hubie's a deplorable?
I thought he was rumored to be gay.
by Anonymous | reply 311 | January 20, 2023 7:45 AM |
Hubie could be cast as a Nazi officer. Not implying anything about his real life or personality by that comment. He just looks like what I picture when I think of one.
A deplorable? Meaning a follower of the Duda far right party in Poland? Or a Trump lover? I've heard there are some in Europe, which blows my mind.
by Anonymous | reply 312 | January 20, 2023 7:54 AM |
Wow, 4 breaks in this set.
I do like those psychedelic Nike shorts on Shapo, with a plain shirt and shoes. A little goes a long way (not liking Tiafoe's take).
by Anonymous | reply 313 | January 20, 2023 7:59 AM |
The jury's out - I don't think Hubie's the type to publicly push political opinions but he is besties with Isner and is one of NoVaxxx's lieutenants on the PTPA. The evidence is entirely circumstantial. He does some seem like a genuinely affable person so until he actually does or says anything heinous I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt.
by Anonymous | reply 314 | January 20, 2023 7:59 AM |
[quote] Hubie's a deplorable?
[quote]I thought he was rumored to be gay.
Peter Thiel doesn’t come to mind? Unfortunately, you can be gay and deplorable. Just as you can be deplorable, but overlook someone’s gayness of they have enough money and a substantial amount of it goes into your coffers.
Not saying Hubie *is* a deplorable, but gayness and deploritude (TM) aren’t incompatible.
by Anonymous | reply 315 | January 20, 2023 8:04 AM |
Ok why does ESPN cut off live coverage at 2am when there are TONS of matches still going on?? I don't want their fucking app. Hopefully they won't do this for the money rounds next week.

Both Hubie and KareBear seemed to be very dialled in today. Didn't expect either of them to be 2 sets up in these match-ups.
by Anonymous | reply 317 | January 20, 2023 8:56 AM |
Goes to a 5th set now. It feels like it's 50/50, could go either way.
by Anonymous | reply 318 | January 20, 2023 10:10 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 319 | January 20, 2023 10:12 AM |
Hubie is 6ft5 (v. few are taller than him in tennis). Isner is 6ft10. The tallest players in tennis are Opelka and Ivo Karlovic who are 6ft11.
by Anonymous | reply 320 | January 20, 2023 10:31 AM |

I don't think anyone is. I keep seeing vague comments about how it's 'known' in Switzerland that he's gay but they never provide any evidence so I don't know if it's trolling or not.
by Anonymous | reply 327 | January 20, 2023 11:05 AM |
Facially Korda is unfortunate-looking. He looks like he could be a lesbian. I just saw an interview with Nishioka and off-court I initially thought he was a butch lesbian.
by Anonymous | reply 329 | January 20, 2023 11:14 AM |
Considering his father, r329, Seb Korda can consider himself luck to only have an “unfortunate” face. His father was/is a complete eyesore (as well as a doping cheat, whose AO should have been annulled and given to the runner up).

Seb's dad (Petr) has facial hair now and looks much better than he did during his playing days. Not great by any means, but much better. The absence of his 90s Beaker from the Muppets hair also helps.

I'm (probably foolishly) starting to think that NoVaxxx might be stoppable. If his injury is genuine ( big if!) and If Demon can run him ragged in the next round maybe Rune can finish him off in the Quarters. Grigor certainly had chances in that match. It SHOULD have gone at least a set longer.

CoCo should get rid of her Dad as coach. She's been on tour long enough. I don't think her parents work outside of her career though - since she's paying her dad to be coach and they travel everywhere with her. Granted she's still only 18, which I forget since she's been around for a while.

I'd like them to step back fairly soon, R446 They got her this far and that's pretty far. But if she's gonna go to the next level, she should have an experienced, totally independent coach apart from her parents. They can focus on supporting her solely as parents and give her some space. Still travel a lot, but don't go EVERYWHERE with her.

CoCo has been a disappointment for NuBalance and all her sponsors. The win in Auckland was one of the weakest fields in years. Poor Mary Joe Fernandez and Rog for having a piece of her. She should maybe go the Donald Young, and switch to Pickleball. How do you NOT drop shot and slice Jelena to set up lobs and easy wnners? You listen to your never played tennis in his life father. The scowls on the mother's face make me feel sorry for CoCo.
by Anonymous | reply 476 | January 22, 2023 5:20 AM |
Coco should have had that hog Ostapenko running all over the court to tire her out quick. Could have been an easy win for Coco
by Anonymous | reply 477 | January 22, 2023 5:23 AM |
Coco can't make her run if she never gets ahead in the point. She was on her heels for much of the match and overwhelmed by the consistent power. She was often reacting, not set to dictate the point. Agree with R476. She should have employed short angles, slices, come into net, loopers, drop shots, etc. and really not given Ostapenko any rhythm. She's utilized such variety before. But, if she feels rushed and overwhelmed - that headspace can make it hard to think ahead to employ more variety. She seemed to be trying to hit hard and deep to rob Ostapenko of time to hit hard and deep herself. It didn't work. Coco doesn't have the strokes to match an "on" Penko. And Ostapenko did play very well. I'd thought she'd lapse but she never did. Plus, yeah Penko is fat, but she actually isn't that bad of a mover - especially laterally. She's much lighter on her feet and a much better mover than someone like Lindsay Davenport.

by Anonymous | reply 479 | January 22, 2023 5:34 AM |
Ostapenko is like Swiatek, both need time to set up their winners which is probably why both have excelled on clay but never on grass. If you are Rybakina and can match their power you can beat them, but Coco doesn't have the power; she should have thrown a lot more junk at Ostapenko to throw her off bc when she's off Ostapenko cannot hit a ball in the court.

R480 Ostapenko has reached both the semis and quarters at Wimbledon and won a title at Eastbourne, so I would say she's excelled on grass. And the way she and Swiatek produced their strokes has nothing in common.
by Anonymous | reply 521 | January 22, 2023 2:23 PM |
I'm glad Sinner lost. Not a fan, but he's a huge talent. He's should be gutted - he's just missed out on having his big break through in a Slam for a while now, often getting into drawn out five-setters but losing - Tsitsipas today, Djokovic at Wimbledon last year, Alacaraz at the USO. He's never been beyond the QFs. Obviously the QFs is a good result for most players, but this is someone who is honestly talked about as one of the next top players - predicted by some to win multiple Slams. Upside - last year he lost to Tsitsipas in straight sets only winning 9 games. Also if you look at their h2h, Stefano just seems like a bad match up for him. It's only a matter of time before he makes a SF or final - as long as he remains injury free.
by Anonymous | reply 522 | January 22, 2023 3:16 PM |
For all the doubles she plays, you'd think that CoCo would be comfortable employing variety. Part of the problem, I think, is that she's been told that she's a "power" player. I remember Chrissy droning on and on about Coco's "power." She's not really that big a hitter and can get hit right off the court like Ostapenko and Swiatek have done.
by Anonymous | reply 523 | January 22, 2023 4:04 PM |
I think Coco is comfortable employing variety in many circumstances. But like I said before, I think she got frozen mentally today because she was overwhelmed. That's on her coaches and her - because they should have KNOWN that she couldn't hit toe to toe with Ostapenko, and the plan from the very beginning should have been to disrupt Penko's rhythm with variety. Going out there with a clear directive would have made that easier. This is why she needs to ditch her dad. He got his baby girl to Top 10 in the world, but IMO she's going to plateau or digress if she doesn't make some changes fairly soon.
by Anonymous | reply 524 | January 22, 2023 4:11 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 540 | January 22, 2023 10:16 PM |
Yeah, I respect Pegula - not only does she play pro tennis, she's making a good living at it, which few can actually do. Yes, it's much easier to have wealthy parents who can support you in the beginning - but she's hardly the first. And she really was a slow build in terms of her career. No phenom. Played at the lower levels of pro tennis and worked her way steadily up. All that said, it's true, her parents are billion-with-a-b-aires and she didn't need to do any of this. To me it's a good thing for trust fund kid to do - no pretense of being a budding filmmaker or something and just frittering/partying away their days. Pegula can point to actual results as evidence of her work and achievement. Plus, can't be a bad life being in your 20s, traveling the world, and doing something you like. Finally, though I don't know how she is in private, Pegula has never even come close to coming across as some spoiled rich kid. She's actually rather nondescript and boring publicly.

JJ Wolf's Cincinnati Bengals beat Jessie Pegula's Buffalo Bills. Jessie, highest ranked seed left, and partner to Coco Gauff, has been an after thought in regard to poor Coco. If she wins the event, hopefully she'll get the credit she deserves. Daddy did not buy her career - he's nowhere near Australia, and even with the Bills' loss today, unlikely he'll go to Melbourne.

Pliskova (30) v. Linette
Sabalenka (5) v. Vekic.
Holger Hingis and Rublev are up next.
by Anonymous | reply 552 | January 23, 2023 2:56 AM |
Caroline Garcia out. Damn.
by Anonymous | reply 553 | January 23, 2023 2:56 AM |
I've had to watch replays of a lot of matches since the ones I want to see come on so late. There's a sixteen hour time difference between the Northeast and there and I need my beauty sleep.

I think Wolf and Shelton are playing at the same time as Mr. Hingis and Rublev
by Anonymous | reply 555 | January 23, 2023 2:58 AM |
Yeah, Wolf looks like he grew up in the comfort of a double-wide

[quote] Yeah, Wolf looks like he grew up in the comfort of a double-wide
He looks like trash, but according to a prior thread he is not. I heard him interviewed last week, and he doesn't have a Southern accent.
by Anonymous | reply 557 | January 23, 2023 3:32 AM |
No he's not hillbilly or trash (which exists far beyond beyond the South) or poor at all. I think he curated that mullet look for fun. And his body is his body - he can lose weight but not change the basic physique - which looks Middle America.
by Anonymous | reply 558 | January 23, 2023 3:37 AM |
No matter how much he's "funning", Wolf's perfected pure deep Appalachia hillbilly.
by Anonymous | reply 559 | January 23, 2023 3:53 AM |
Why is Rune called Mr. Hingis?
by Anonymous | reply 560 | January 23, 2023 4:07 AM |
Because he's known for being a bit bratty and petulant like former WTA star Martina Hingis.
by Anonymous | reply 561 | January 23, 2023 4:09 AM |
I don't think it's a widely used reference. People on DL were just having some fun.
by Anonymous | reply 562 | January 23, 2023 4:11 AM |
They look similar as well. Like he's the male version of her.
by Anonymous | reply 563 | January 23, 2023 4:12 AM |
Yes, both Hingis and Holger have massive foreheads and squinchy disdainful faces.
by Anonymous | reply 564 | January 23, 2023 4:14 AM |
As I wrote above, Holger Rune should not wear yellow. It looks awful on him. Anyone here agree?
by Anonymous | reply 565 | January 23, 2023 4:16 AM |
A full burka would be Rune's best look.

Novak Djokovic is caught up in yet another controversy as video of star getting passed a mysterious bottle sees him suspected of breaking Australian Open rules
by Anonymous | reply 568 | January 23, 2023 4:38 AM |
Perhaps it was oxygen from his tank to expel all that ails him?
by Anonymous | reply 569 | January 23, 2023 4:46 AM |
It's not the first time that's happened. Got to wonder what's in those bottles.
"The incident comes after Djokovic suffered a shock defeat to Danish teenager Holger Rune in the Paris Masters in November, after which a video of his physiotherapist mixing him a drink dominated headlines.
The physio was caught on camera mixing a mystery drink in the stands before handing it to a ball girl to pass along to the Serbian champion. Another member of Djokovic's team used his back to try and obscure vision of what was going on.
Prior to that, the 21-time grand slam champion attracted attention for appearing to inhale a substance from a water bottle at the Wimbledon Championships.
When asked what was in the drink bottles, Djokovic would only reply: 'magic potion'."

Bencic is bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 571 | January 23, 2023 4:53 AM |
Anyone know if player bags are checked before going on court? It's a little strange that Djokovic doesn't already take a bottle in his bag if it's all innocent.
by Anonymous | reply 572 | January 23, 2023 4:54 AM |
love how Holger's team seem to keep telling him to calm down.
by Anonymous | reply 573 | January 23, 2023 5:06 AM |
It's probably QAnon cooker juice R572. He's a well-documented, proven bald faced liar so who knows what it is.
The sooner he leaves Australia the better. If he wins the AO it will be a travesty.

Fifth set for Hingis-Rublev :S
Those people in seagull costumes pestering people with food are funny, not going to lie.
by Anonymous | reply 575 | January 23, 2023 5:48 AM |
Massive choke from Rublev at the end of that 4th set.
by Anonymous | reply 576 | January 23, 2023 5:49 AM |
Holger Rune is choking back tears!! What a lovely sight.
by Anonymous | reply 577 | January 23, 2023 6:48 AM |
Wow. Amazing end to that match. That super duper lucky let!! Rublev was down so many points at the beginning of the tiebreak too.
by Anonymous | reply 578 | January 23, 2023 6:49 AM |
That was incredible. I woke up to see Rublev about to drop the fifth set--and yet he got to the tiebreak and won.
by Anonymous | reply 579 | January 23, 2023 6:53 AM |
All credit to Andrey to pull that back from 5-0 down in that breaker. For once, his nerves were ice cold.
Such a great personality off court, too. He always comes across as a fun, mischievous guy.
by Anonymous | reply 580 | January 23, 2023 6:53 AM |
Yes, he saved two match points to get a tiebreak. I really thought he was going to lose. So much fight.
by Anonymous | reply 581 | January 23, 2023 6:54 AM |
Ugh. Ben Shelton is gonna win. Huge performance though; big future.
by Anonymous | reply 582 | January 23, 2023 6:55 AM |
Would Rublev be considered a ginger? He's cute.
by Anonymous | reply 583 | January 23, 2023 7:02 AM |
Ginger to me - he has the complexion (fair, freckles) and his hair def is ginger-y.
by Anonymous | reply 584 | January 23, 2023 7:11 AM |
Just dropping in to say that Rafael Nadal has the best arse in the tennis business. Spectacular!
by Anonymous | reply 585 | January 23, 2023 7:11 AM |
Can we thank New Balance for Tommy's dusty-pink shorts?
Everything's looking very 'snug' and comfortable down there.
by Anonymous | reply 586 | January 23, 2023 7:13 AM |
Is there *anyone* who can beat Djokovic? Even with a taped up thigh (unusual) he's cruising against De Minaur. I'm not thinking Rublev can either.
by Anonymous | reply 587 | January 23, 2023 8:20 AM |
I turned on the Djokovic–De Minaur match hoping to find a good, competitive match (and secretly hoping to find The Cheat (tm) trailing), only to find that Djokovic is using De Minaur to wipe the court with.
I’ve since turned the match off.
by Anonymous | reply 588 | January 23, 2023 8:27 AM |
R588 I hear you. Novak's mysterious leg injury seems to have completely vanished. Funny that.
by Anonymous | reply 589 | January 23, 2023 8:30 AM |
I don't think it's vanished. I think it's bothering him going by his facial expressions (and he's not the type to claim injuries all the time).
by Anonymous | reply 590 | January 23, 2023 8:33 AM |
Christ, the De Manure team looks like they came out of a Florida trailer park. And on cue, one of them picks his nose on camera.

Boobs Out!
by Anonymous | reply 593 | January 23, 2023 9:54 AM |
Rune aint no fave, he gay bashes when he can. a real cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 594 | January 23, 2023 10:07 AM |
Boobs Out is now apparently Thanks to the Heavens. There was a slow-mo replay of Novaxx thanking the heavens and it seemed he was saying “Thank you” and then a word starting with M. He’s so fake his thank you was in English. Brown-nosing and lying are just second nature to him.
And let’s not get started on the rabid nationalist Serbian crowds. They’re still out there howling “Novak! Novak!” and waving their flags in people’s faces. Ugh.
by Anonymous | reply 595 | January 23, 2023 10:11 AM |
What is that M word (sorry if I'm being slow).
by Anonymous | reply 596 | January 23, 2023 10:29 AM |
Not clear, r596. The replay cut out just as he was mouthing an M.
by Anonymous | reply 597 | January 23, 2023 10:40 AM |
Wolf comes from an extremely wealthy Cincy family. They used to own MidWest Sports. His grandfather was a basketball coach of the Cincinnati Royals. His father and uncles were Cincinnati Metropolitan champions and owned tennis clubs. He's hardly trailer trash.
