But if we go by rank, it would be Kate in the middle (Camilla, Kate & Meghan)
Yet it is Meghan front and centre in the middle, while Camilla & Kate are on either side like afterthoughts

I have it on good authority that the gals were trying to get Her Maj to greenlight the pilot episode of their sitcom, Meghan In The Middle. Willy and Kate were huge Suits fans, and got Charles and Camilla onto her repertoire of works. It became clear at once to Kate and Camilla that although they outranked her royally, they could play second fiddle and let Meghan be queen of the silver screen. Unfortunately, the actual Queen was not amused and the whole project fell apart.
