The Youthful Closet: Most actors I know who are in the closet, have always been in the closet or come out. Not so, for this one permanent A list movie actor who is an Oscar winner/nominee. He has been publicly seen with only women for several decades now and there is nothing to suggest he does anything with any men at this point in his life at all. Not so, when he was at the very peak of his fame and was headlining multiple movie franchises. At that point, he and his then significant other would hit swingers clubs and sex clubs and our actor would have sex with anything that moved. He was insatiable. Then, AIDS hit and our actor refused to have a sexual encounter with a man from that day moving forward and also insisted that all sex partners get a STD test. Our actor had a lot of sex and he had an account at a local lab who would often process 2 or 3 STD tests for him each day.

Random assholes with axes to grind contribute blind items and they run them. They don't check anything out, they don't actually know anything. They're just filling their quota of Blinds for the day. People send in things they make up about people they don't like.
Davida, who knows nothing and no one in the business sends in "blind items" she makes up about actors she doesn't like and they run them. That's the level of non-information they have at CDAN.

Assuming this is not just CDAN fiction (which it most likely is), my guess is Stallone. Michael Douglas definitely had a wild reputation in the 70s early 80s, including visits to bathouses. But no franchises that I know of. He's definitely won an Oscar (for Cuckoo's Nest as a producer) and been nominated as an actor.

Harrison Ford wasn't in any franchises in the 70s (Star Wars became a franchise in the 80s but wasn't in the 70s). Empire Strikes Back came out in 1980 and Raiders in 1981. Right around the cusp of AIDS.

As many have pointed out, nothing in here makes sense, especially
[quote] our actor refused to have a sexual encounter with a man from that day moving forward
versus
[quote] also insisted that all sex partners get a STD test. Our actor had a lot of sex and he had an account at a local lab who would often process 2 or 3 STD tests for him each day.
So by that logic, this elderly actor has (a) not had sex with a man in almost 45 years but (b) scored massive amounts of STD-tested pussy during those past 45 years.
Throw in [quote] he and his then significant other would hit swingers clubs and sex clubs and our actor would have sex with anything that moved.
in reference to the 1970s and it sounds like he let a guy or two touch his dick back in 1978 and the writer wants to brand him as a closet case.
by Anonymous | reply 133 | December 24, 2022 7:53 PM |
For 1974’s The Conversation:
[quote]Harrison Ford's part was initially intended to be a small cameo, written as little more than an office assistant. Feeling that the character was one-dimensional, Ford decided to play him as gay, a risky choice in 1974, and personally purchased the loud green silk suit for nine hundred dollars (4,285 in 2015 dollars). Francis Ford Coppola was at first shocked by the outfit at rehearsals, but after discussing it with Ford, was so impressed with this interpretation, that he expanded the role into a supporting character, gave the character a name (Martin Stett) and had Production Designer Dean Tavoularis create an office that reflected the character's orientation.
Interesting choice for an up and coming actor to make, although having seen the movie numerous times I never realized the character was meant to be gay until reading that
