He was already losing his hair in the latter seasons of The Nanny when he was only 18/19, so it's hardly a surprise.

On the other hand he seems to have turned out a lot better than most child stars. I saw he was (or is?) the Director of Operations at Universal Studios, so has a solid career and is doing well for himself. Good for him.

Where did that rumor start?

He is not an extraordinary beauty, but he is not terrible looking. Just average or a little better than average.

His eyes are so close together.

I had no idea Renée's middle name was Adorée, after the early film star.

And yes, Shaughnessy is aging very well. In 2016 he went near-naked on an episode of NCIS and looked very good.
