Dingoes should be domesticated

Look at these little babies. Few dogs are this cute. They probably are very well behaved too like wolf dogs.

Do you know what they do to babies and people's reputations, OP?

by Anonymousreply 3December 18, 2022 1:37 AM

I’d let him eat my baby

I want one!

Our Hell's Kitchen dogdom goes through cycles of favorites: most recently miniature Dachshunds, then Boston Terriers, then Frenchies, now Corgis. But make way...

The Dingoes are coming! The Dingoes are coming!

by Anonymousreply 5December 18, 2022 1:52 AM

I like them.

by Anonymousreply 6December 18, 2022 1:52 AM

Can someone feed them a baby please, just to make sure that he/she will really eat it.

I recommend a Kartrashian baby, they have lots of them around.

by Anonymousreply 7December 18, 2022 7:27 AM

Yes! I believe the should be trained to become nannies, babysitters, obstetricians or abortionists!

by Anonymousreply 8December 18, 2022 7:32 AM

I know a dog who looks like a dingo but he’s not

by Anonymousreply 9December 18, 2022 7:35 AM

Oh, sure, they're always cute, until they take your baby.

by Anonymousreply 10December 18, 2022 8:09 AM

It would've been so much easier if I had just adopted one of these!

by Anonymousreply 11December 18, 2022 8:24 AM

Yes, adorable as pups, but probably not domesticable (not without extensive re-breeding).

Wolf dogs are also beautiful, but definitely not what most people would describe as "well behaved" -- they're very challenging to keep. (We had one.)

by Anonymousreply 12December 18, 2022 9:42 AM

My dog is three quarters dingo and she is the sweetest babygurl you’d ever hope to snuggle with. Just a darling.

by Anonymousreply 13December 18, 2022 9:43 AM

I married one. Do I get W/W props for that?

by Anonymousreply 14December 18, 2022 9:50 AM

R3 should have signed their post “Lindy Chamberlain”

by Anonymousreply 15December 18, 2022 10:01 AM

Um, you know how scared you all are of our spiders, snakes and sharks?

Well just because something is fluffy doesn't mean it's any different.

by Anonymousreply 16December 18, 2022 11:08 AM

I once let a pack of starving dingoes with rabies into a hospital nursery.

"Bloody delusional Americans"

You started this thread, didn't you?

by Anonymousreply 18December 18, 2022 12:00 PM

Er, no?

by Anonymousreply 19December 18, 2022 12:05 PM

Dingos are closely related to the New Guinea singing dog.

They most certainly not be domesticated but some are. When visiting Broken Hill back in 2019 I saw a couple with a dingo on a lead on the main shopping strip. The dingo was VERY cute.

Anyway, there has been yet another attack on a child by a dingo, but the dingo will NOT be put down (thankfully).

Now that abortion is illegal in half of the country, domesticated dingoes would be quite handy.

by Anonymousreply 24December 20, 2022 8:16 AM

R24 Abortion is legal in Australia so we don't need dingoes to be domesticated. There are already enough nutters with dangerous dogs without adding dingoes to the cities.

by Anonymousreply 25December 20, 2022 8:38 AM

It's Australia. Best believe at least one Aussie has already domesticated an entire pack of them. Aussies will usually domesticate deadly animals. It's all they have over there. They think it's normal.

by Anonymousreply 26December 20, 2022 8:52 AM

We deserve whatever dingoes choose as our fate.

But be careful, look’s can be deceiving. Just when you least expect it, they’ll eat your baby.

by Anonymousreply 29December 21, 2022 8:49 AM

When I was a boy our family dog was a kelpie which is said to be part dingo. He was very sweet, character wise.

by Anonymousreply 30December 21, 2022 9:23 AM

Who'd win in a fight - a dingo, a jackal, or a coyote??

by Anonymousreply 31December 21, 2022 10:04 AM

Are dingoes a threat to adults or just babies?

by Anonymousreply 32December 21, 2022 8:14 PM

They’ll chew your face off.

by Anonymousreply 33December 21, 2022 8:42 PM

We don't have enough "domesticated" bitches already, do we?
