Missing the W&W, FF, and block buttons

On my laptop at home (running Windows 8.1) they don't show up. My work laptop (running Windows 10) show them. Always been like that.

What sort of ad blocker do you use? Which browser?

They show up for me. I'm using an ad blocker and Windows 11, if that helps.

I'm not missing those buttons but was are they for?

They are missing on my iPad but not my iPhone and I use the same Adblock, not sure what the difference is.

Try switching the browser in which you open DL, OP. This worked for me a while back

Seriously - no one else noticed this change a few days ago? On my iPad, you now have to click the box with an arrow in it - which then lets you see the W/W, F/F

TBH I don't know what they stand for but just that one is good and one is bad. I'm stupid

Try updating your damned iPad OS. There was.massive update for all iOS and Mac devices earlier this week.

R5, the block button is for people who are triggered by anyone who dares to disagree with them.

The ff button is for delicates who feel like their safe space was violated. It's the virtual equivalent of tattling on someone to Muriel.

The ww button is the one that has been redefined to be a "like" button.

The red circle with a person inside it and a red line through their head is the ignore user button, also used by delicates who can't stand the idea of anyone having a different opinion on any topic. It is used frequently in conjunction with the ff button. Usually this involves a post screaming "FF and blocked!!"

I got an internal memo, stating that trolls with hundreds of sock puppet accounts are getting all their F&F, W&w buttons disabled.

OP is one of those trolls.

Somebody else had a similar problem several months ago. Changing the theme setting fixed it

Your "BORIS TROLL" is authenticated poster brandonjoseph, r99. He also posts as FormerNewYorker, or FNY. He's been posting like this for years. Thousands of anti-NYC posts in dozens of threads. Start any thread on NYC, and FNY will appear and infest it.
