I remember when Georgeann was the original Heather Webber on General Hospital in the 70s (early 80s?) and her features were much pointier.

Weird seeing this now. Just discovered Georgia recorded an album in the 80s (only released in the last decade) and it's shocking how much she sounds like her daughter. Always thought Cher was such a standalone, unique talent, but she gets it from her mother.

[R2] She was in the 60s and especially the 70s, when she was wearing clothes designed by Bob Mackie. Once she started altering her face with the plastic surgery and no longer looked like "Cher" in the 80s, she became more of a joke than a beauty. I would love to see what she would look like today at 76 of he 'aged' gracefully and not with the help of a surgeon.

In the 80s with straightened teeth and the bump removed from her nose, Cher looked great. Her transformation scene in Moonstruck was wonderful.

It's the 90s when she started with the lips that things went wrong.

That album was a gift from Cher. She found the old tapes, and had them remastered. There's a duet with them- it's probably on YouTube.

I highly recommend Dear Mom, Love Cher for Georgia fans. Great stories and it's by the gay couple who have done some good docs on Trini Lopez and Pierre Cardin.. One of the guys is currently touring with his book Lunch With Lizabeth

R8 - I believe that IMDB is notorious for having incorrect episode counts. I think that only episodes that some has recapped or added specific information about “count” towards an actor’s episode count.

A long long time ago I saw Cher interviewed on an episode of some talk show (Mike Douglas) and Georgia and Georgia’s mother were in the audience. It was mentioned that Cher’s grandmother had given birth at age 14. It was laughed off like she was “naughty”, but would probably be considered child abuse today.

Not a bad life for the girl from El Centro.

Striking is the word I would use, aided by the ability to afford lots of enhancement, especially Cher.

Just don't look at the cosmetic surgery OR.

I’ve always thought being the sibling to a superstar would be a good gig, provided the superstar was a decent enough person, and the sibling was willing to embrace it. Georgeanne always seemed to tag along happily.
