Close, you're getting your designer episodes mixed up. Cher's mother Georgia Holt was one of the haute couture women who walk by Lucy and Ethel in designer versions of the fake "feed bag" dresses in the "Lucy Gets a Paris Gown" episode. The Don Loper episode was called "The Fashion Show" and was from the previous season when the Ricardos and Mertzes were in Hollywood.

Mask has sexy Sam Elliott while mermaids has sexy Bob hoskins and whoever was diddling Wynona Ryder's character. You can't really go wrong with either but mask is my favorite of the two.

I'm not blaming Cher, but Cher has been ALL over the place over the past few months with lots of low-IQ celebs and her producer boyfriend who are always unmasked. I bet she has been exposed to flu, multiple strains of Covid, and RSV while out to dinner, walking multiple fashion week runways, shooting a Balmain ad, etc. I pray Cher didn't catch something and pass it to her mom. I mean, I know Georgia was 96 but she was in good health and pneumonia is largely avoidable, especially when someone of their wealth/privilege can basically self-isolate indefinitely and stay healthy.

"Mask" isn't about the kid. It's a story of a fierce Mother loving her disfigured kid. Cher was ridiculously snubbed by Oscar after her Golden Globe nomination.

Cher's mom wasn't in the Don Loper episode, it was the Jacques Marcel Paris episode. She played a model. I've seen her on an old Ozzie and Harriet show as well.

Even though she was 96, losing your mother has an impact on you. Hope she has the love and support of her family and friends during this time of grief. I love you, Cher. :-)
