It’s a tragicomedy, that’s for sure. I don’t know why it hasn’t even cult status. Bobby Trendy, Howard Stern, Anna and her outrageous personality. She was ahead of her time with the plus-sized and proud of it trend. I have always loved Bobby Trendy’s decor for her home.

Sorry. I just forgot the BEST CHARACTER on the show. Cousin Bridget when she comes to visit from wherever Anna grew up. She was awesome. she was either missing some teeth, or some of her teeth I think maybe discolored? She was actually a pretty nice person.

It wasn’t that entertaining. She was a lazy bum who didn’t work or do anything so it was hard to make decent storylines out of her life.

Mad TV captured the show perfectly. And the crazy thing is, it’s a pretty accurate depiction of her.

I remember the first episode where she was drugged out of her mind and bouncing up and down on a mattress, like she was testing it to see if it was good to fuck on. I’m guessing she couldn’t commit to more than two seasons because she would’ve need to have been coherent to do so.

There was a scene where Cousin Shelly (no teeth) whispered into Anna's ear. The microphones did not pick up what was said. Next thing you know, Anna reached into her bag and palmed something small into Cousin Shelly's hand. Pills, I'm guessing.

Yes, the assistant did seem nice. Anna kissed her on the lips in one scene. Not a peck, not extended, though.

I loved this show. I also loved the reality show that Paula Abdul did, lol!

This show was depressing, IMO. It was a trainwreck. Anna was overweight and high all the time. Howard Stern, an attorney, was obsessed with her and had nothing better to do than follow her around all day.

There was one episode where she lost a gun in her couch cushions.

It's probably not so popular, right now, because it portended major tragedies to come: death of Anna and her son, Howard Stern criminally charged (I think he was acquitted, though), Cousin Shelly's new teeth fell out, etc.

Anna Nicole was genuinely a lovely person, and when polished up was a stunning woman. She didn't pretend that she was anything other than a small town girl with a bewitching, charming way about her, and knew how to make the most of what she had.

In hindsight it's a bit more uncomfortable to watch, because she is clearly unwell, but it was such a quirky band of characters and somehow captured the generational ennui. I wanted to be part of her little gang, riding in the limo and doing fuck all.

Reality TV was a lot more fun and colourful back then. Between Anna Nicole, The Simple Life, Flavor of Love, Girls of the Playboy Mansion, Rock of Love, ANTM, early Survivor, MADE, even Life With La Toya (sue me)... I don't know what the new ones are missing, maybe it's just the characters themselves aren't as interesting. You turn on The Bachelor these days or even most of the Kardashian/Housewives shows and nobody is delivering it like Tiffany 'New York' Pollard or Nicole Ritchie or Anna Nicole Smith.

There will never be another ANS.

People always imagine themselves "hanging out" with famous people. In reality, it wouldn't ever happen. But that's what these shows are about, helping non-famous people feel like they could be hanging out with famous people.

Trash TV. I have never understood people who like watching loser people fucking up all the time. I always think people who watch are pretty limited themselves.

It was actually entertaining but also cringeworthy at the same time. Anna Nicole was taken advantage of a lot and jeez on more 💊 than Karen Walker. Her son seemed like a good kid that part is always sad.
