They were the soundtrack of my teenage years, and my appreciation for them has only deepened as I've gotten older. Bro snobs loved to shit on Meg White for her "rudimentary" drumming, but I always thought it sounded great and served the music perfectly. Jack White was and is a great guitarist. I especially loved the heavy blues rock sound on their earlier records.
I was never a huge fan but there were several songs/albums I enjoyed.
Also, I've been in Jack's record store/studio in Detroit. It's kinda cool to see a space where vinyl can be pressed.

I'm a big fan too. I also like Meg's simple drumming, which I think perfectly complimented Jack's over-the-top guitar playing.
