So who is your favorite Golden Age TV Lois Lane?
Phyllis Coates was in for the first 26 episodes. Then after the hiatus, Noel Neill (who had played the role in one of the Columbia serials) took over.
Both had their charms. I have to say I like Phyllis better because she was tougher and really rode Clark hard. Noel was a closer friend to Jimmy and was probably always available for a late night call when his date at the gay bar left him stranded on the wrong side of Metropolis.
I recently watched an episode titled "The Boy Who Hated Superman." Jimmy had been staying at Clark's apartment while Jimmy's mother was away. Every time someone mentioned Jimmy, I added, "He's a cute red head with a sweet ass and a big dick." It certainly livened things up for me.

Twenty four hours later and not one response.
Maybe I should have chosen another topic.
I even added a poll!

Perhaps a poll of all the actresses who have portrayed Lois on the big screen and on TV.

Who around here paid attention to the actresses? We were all looking at Superman!

R2 I just specifically wanted thoughts on the Golden Age TV actresses.....too many choices and different era actresses with different skills and different production/script values were from another time and place.
And yes R3 George was certainly easy on the eyes - as was Jack Larson - but they have certainly already had their threads here on DL.
Ah well......that's okay.

It's funny. I always assumed that Noel was the best Lois, for years. But looking back, I now see that she was a sexless "pal" for Clark. Phyllis had all the sexy spunk needed.
