Autistic people are disloyal and mean to their core

I don’t care about the excuses . There is something very off about these freaks . There is seething rage boiling under the surface. They are vengeful over the slightest or perceived slights . THEY HAVE NO EMPATHY!!

by Anonymousreply 98January 15, 2023 2:00 AM

What is the point of this hate? They do have empathy or many do.

by Anonymousreply 1November 20, 2022 10:07 PM

The rage thing seems to describe psychopaths more than autistic people. Vengefulness seems more like a narcissistic trait as well.

[quote]THEY HAVE NO EMPATHY!!

I mean, their brain is literally wired that way, it's kind of the reason they're autistic.

by Anonymousreply 2November 20, 2022 10:07 PM

OP is on the spectrum obviously.

by Anonymousreply 3November 20, 2022 10:09 PM

R2, lack of empathy is a narcissistic trait as is revenge. There are Parallels between the disorders.

by Anonymousreply 4November 20, 2022 10:10 PM

Back off OP. Autistic people did not ask for autism.

[Bold] It's a disease!

by Anonymousreply 5November 20, 2022 10:13 PM

Most autistics are not empathetic and have to be taught empathetic facial expressions and phrases. They're also easily agitated and have to be taught to curb their violent tendencies.

by Anonymousreply 6November 20, 2022 10:14 PM

I don't understand all these anti autistic threads. I find them to be majorly weird but not vengeful for the most part. The girls in particular are usually docile and helpful towards others to an excessive fault.

You want to see vengeful spend time with a cluster b ( npd or bpd). These people are appalling. Maybe you're meeting cluster bs misdiagnosed with autism?

by Anonymousreply 7November 20, 2022 10:16 PM

Autistics with any power over people are to be feared .

A lot of BPD women I've met are self diagnosed aspies or austistics. No, bitch, you crazy. Not neuro-divergent or special and it took 33 years to figure it out...

by Anonymousreply 13November 20, 2022 10:25 PM

r11 No, in fact they will probably find out that lots of women diagnosed with BPD (as well as depression...) are actually autistic. Personality disorder are not very hard science.

by Anonymousreply 14November 20, 2022 10:28 PM

R14, a lot of female autistics are disproportionately trans and or weird asexual lesbians.

by Anonymousreply 15November 20, 2022 10:30 PM

r15 That too.

by Anonymousreply 16November 20, 2022 10:33 PM

by Anonymousreply 20November 21, 2022 2:38 AM

OP is an aspie.

by Anonymousreply 21November 21, 2022 2:40 AM

Based on life experience, not indoctrinated sensitivity, i agree: most gay autists and aspies are cold as ice.

by Anonymousreply 22November 21, 2022 3:16 AM

Asperger Autistics tend to come off mean. But autism is a spectrum. Some high-functioning (non-Asperger) autistics can be empathetic.

by Anonymousreply 23November 21, 2022 3:23 AM

I disagree with your assessment, OP. I've dealt with a lot of people over the years who lack empathy and none of them were autistic.

I've also met people who call themselves empaths. You want to run for your life as if you're being chased by a grizzly if you meet those types of people. They're usually narcissistic sociopaths/psychopaths trying to find their next victim.

by Anonymousreply 24November 21, 2022 3:29 AM

Nice generalization there, OP. I hope your beauty salon continues to prosper, ya old hag.

by Anonymousreply 29November 21, 2022 4:22 AM

Person who has met one person with autism (allegedly) makes a blanket value judgement about everyone on the spectrum. Others chime in about their respective one-off experiences with people who have other mental health diagnoses (allegedly). Debate about NPD vs. psychopathy vs. ASD ensues. The weekly circle jerk endures.

by Anonymousreply 30November 21, 2022 4:31 AM

Autistic people lack social graces or restraint. They react on impulse a lot of the time, so when an average would say “I’m so pissed I could punch a wall,” they actually do. Although they do try to manipulate, it’s very awkward and transparent. I liken it to thoughts and feelings most people have but have been socialized to hide or acknowledge as bad. They are more or less tied with the general public for legitimate malevolence.

Asperger’s are the annoying ones because they can generally have conversations and interests but they do not understand nuance and are extremely defensive. There is absolutely no black and white thinking. If you want to hear Asperger thinking, go on Reddit. That site basically Spectrum dot com. They are entitled and rude.

Social media and lockdowns have excaberated Asberger behavior, so it feels especially widespread. These are people at a deficit who have been trapped at home and are getting zero socialization. It actually poses a threat to the general public if they become angry.

by Anonymousreply 31November 21, 2022 4:57 AM

Autism is way, way over-diagnosed and I don't believe for a minute in Asperger's. They're narcissistic people with zero social graces because of their arrogance who now claim they're autistic to prevent people from responding to their attacks. They are assholes.

by Anonymousreply 32November 21, 2022 5:31 AM

It's not really their fault they haven't got empathy and have rage issues. I find it less acceptable when people are arseholes on purpose.

by Anonymousreply 33November 21, 2022 5:45 AM

Is autism caused by defective genes?

by Anonymousreply 34November 21, 2022 5:46 AM

My general rule is: no tics or hand flapping, no overreacting to stimuli, or CLEAR neurological issues, you've got yourself a bullshitting asshole who wants an excuse to asshole.

by Anonymousreply 35November 21, 2022 8:00 AM

R34 I have heard it comes from vaccines

by Anonymousreply 36November 21, 2022 9:51 AM

Autism is just mental retardation.

The moms don’t want to call their kids retards, but that’s what they are.

by Anonymousreply 37November 21, 2022 10:00 AM

Isn't autism caused by dusty sperm? I have a coworker who fathered a child in his late 50s. Lo and behold, the child is autistic.

FFS, yet another thread about autism, of which 2 people in my extended family have.

Step into a grease fire, OP.

by Anonymousreply 39November 21, 2022 10:00 AM

I think OP is describing NPDs and BPDs. They frequently go on the attack, but claim be perpetual victims themselves. They are never at fault for their own awful behavior. And they do lack empathy. Care nothing at all about others except for how they might be useful. When called out, they turn the tables lightening fast to try and guilt you, turning on the waterworks and letting you know how much you've "hurt" them.

Perceived slights are a hallmark. BPD's in particular think they are mind readers--ascribing motives and complicated agendas to others based on nothing but their own delusions and self involved paranoia.

by Anonymousreply 56November 21, 2022 5:03 PM

Yammer I meant. ^

by Anonymousreply 57November 21, 2022 5:03 PM

Autism makes autistics frustrated and emotionally childish. They can't help it. It's not a disease, though. It's like brain damage. For instance, my mother was forced to not give birth to me until her doctor arrived at the hospital. Two hours. When I was allowed to be born, they had me on inclining board to help me puke up the afterbirth. That's what they told her, but I suspect that it was to help clear my lungs. I hate to think about how many other babies were damaged by stupid nurses and tardy doctors.

If having little empathy for others' feelings make me a bad person, then I'm bad. Irredeemable. I certainly feel guilty enough for my words and lack of sensitivity, so there's that. Regrets. I have more than a few regrets for how I've treated people. But what can I do? Despite popular belief, you can't learn to be more empathic. The severely autistic stay as they are, treatment or not. Talk of a spectrum misleads people. They think you can improve. No. Better adaptation, yes. The nonverbal will remain nonverbal. Difficulty communicating is what causes the frustration. Frustration seems a lot like anger, of course.

About narcissism: it's a personality type. How can people change their own personality? I can imagine being taught how to behave better, but ti won't change the narcissist. They can't help being whaqt they are. You can help yourself by avoiding them. There are much worse things to be than narcissistic, you know. No empathy + desire to harm others= psychopathy. Or is that sociopathy? Whatever it's labeled, it's much worse than narcissism. More destructive by far. Don't you think so?

Sounds like your mom and/or you got things confused. You can't hold back a birth. The baby comes when it wants to.

I worked for years with kids with autism (REAL autism not bullshit) and Down's. First of all, kids with Down's are 1000X more civilized and smarter. People who claim their kids became autistic due to vaccines are people looking for somebody else to blame - or sue - for the fact their kid is defective. Having spoken to many parents of kids with real autism, the ones who had older children realized early on something was wrong with the autistic kid and it was missing its milestones. It's the ones who had never had kids who believed vaccines were responsible as autism gets officially diagnosed at about 2 1/2 - the same time kids get the vaccines.

by Anonymousreply 60November 21, 2022 6:21 PM

I'm autistic and have been bullied by "normies" my whole life. That's when I haven't been treated like a fluffy pet. Can you blame me for being a little pissed off at society?

by Anonymousreply 61November 21, 2022 6:21 PM

R61 if you were autistic, you would be non-verbal and currently sitting in a room somewhere hitting your head against a wall. You're not autistic, you have a personality disorder.

Bump for truth

by Anonymousreply 63November 21, 2022 7:22 PM

This new and watered down diagnosis for autism has truly fucked it up for those with real autism. There is only so much money to go around for programs and special ed.

When did this start that everyone needed some diagnosis to account for what they were and how they behaved?

I mean I know why my clients got so easily diagnosed for something or another - their mothers wanted that monthly check for $770 from SSDI.

by Anonymousreply 64November 21, 2022 7:41 PM

I think saying you're autistic is similar to saying you are gender fluid/nonconforming/pronouns: a way for middle-class white people to claim they are a persecuted minority. by Anonymousreply 77November 25, 2022 2:44 PM

The most believable theory about autism is that real autism - not narcissistic, rude, obsessional people claiming to be 'on the spectrum' - occurs in or about the 14th week of gestation. True autistics invariably suffer from gastro-intestinal problems. The gastrointestinal tract develops during this period.

Eventually, a genetic marker for autism will no doubt be found. A genetic marker for schizophrenia has already been identified. And a reminder that autism used to be known as infantile schizophrenia.

At the thread at R71, it's a gigantic pity party. These adults saying they weren't "diagnosed until 33 or 51. Particularly the PhDs.

They seem to be upset that they are reassessing diagnoses of autistics.

[quote] I wrote a thread on how Reactive Attachment Disorder replaces Autism diagnoses for marginalized kids and enables weird moral judgement of autistic traits in popular medical literature:

They don't like this at all. They seem to love and thrive on being able to say they are autistic.

I once hired a graduate student who seemed fine on paper and in interviews. She was a rude, obnoxious, arrogant bitch. After numerous run-ins she'd had with other members of staff, I had to discipline her. She whined "I'm autistic" "I can't help it". But she could tailor her behavior to whatever best suited her attempts to crush other people. Truly autistic people are not manipulative. They simply can't control their behavior. She probably had Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Autism - no.

by Anonymousreply 94November 29, 2022 6:19 PM

We hired a graduate student at our software company. He didn't disclose he had autism. We had to keep him away from the customers, but he seemed to be doing okay. After the 6 month trial period we decided to extend his position as a non-customer related capacity, but he just didn't turn up and emailed everyone to say he's done with it, we were terrible employers and that we treated him badly and abused him about his autism. We didn't even know at that point that he had it and everyone was really good to him, despite him having behavioural issues.

My boss was pissed but I just figured we dodged a bullet. He actually emailed the boss asking to use him as a reference! Needless to say, the reference was not what he was expecting.

Last I heard, he's been through multiple companies, quitting after 6 months each time.
