I think Taylor had a beautiful face, especially as a teen. Her body was average, whereas Loren had the face and body. Liz is a DL favorite because she helped bring attention to Aids research. Bless her for that much.

By far the most beautiful was Hedy Lamar, in my opinion. Perfection.

It would be best if you factor in that many of these women were naturally, or nearly naturally beautiful. No fillers, facelifts, suctions, lasers, and on and on. They had only the benefit of good lighting, good makeup, natural beauty, and good photographers.

Nobody's mentioned Raquel Welch. She was one of the most beautiful women of all time. Honestly much more of a looker than Marilyn Monroe.

Hedy Lamarr was beautiful and brilliant.

Oh, no. I think when the chips are down, Ava Gardner was probably the most beautiful actress to come out of Hollywood. Very unique.

There was a strength to her face that made it much more than just “pretty.” Kelly, Taylor, Dahl etc. had very delicate, symmetrical, doll-like faces that made them famous, but Gardner’s goes a few steps further thanks to its individuality. She was never just a doll.

(Though I do agree she looked harsher as she aged; she partied hard.)
