LOL - I actually watched the first season - it seems designed for fraus, but I enjoyed it. Well written and paced.

The Indian girl was my favorite - her timing was hilarious and she's written as a gay man. Just wants dick and objectifies every hot guy who walks by.

Mindy seems like a total bitch, but I have to admit: I really like her various shows. They tend to have just the right amount of silliness, pathos and humor.And they're always full of sex - usually awkward sex (always funny if done right).

I keep watching this show for some reason even though it's objectively terrible. First, the Bela character is so fucking annoying. I think they're trying to go for a Samantha vibe but she's way too one note and her dialogue isn't clever, it's just crass. Then there's unintentional hilarity of Leighton's lesbian storyline. Do the writers really think college campuses are full of hot lipstick lesbians who just spend all day looking for casual sex? Have they ever met an actual lesbian before?

I’m confused, are they filming this show in summer, but somehow shooting with a filter that turns the green leaves russet brown and then dressing the set with fake snow? It’s just so off putting, why aren’t they shooting Vasser’s outdoor scenes during the actual winter?

Why are there some classes that are beginning in early December?

The school is supposed to be on a trimester schedule. So I guess the first term is Sep-Nov, then Dec-Feb, and then March-May. Which means the show will be 12 seasons in by the time they graduate. And half the cast will be in their 40s by then. Lmao.

I don’t understand the timeframe of this show. They make a point of saying the school is on a trimester system and the first season ends before Thanksgiving. Then the second season, which is no longer, apparently covers two trimesters with no mention of one ending and another beginning and then concludes at the end of their freshman year.

Also if I never hear the word Catullan again I will die happy.

R19 Right! It’s a mess setting the timeframe up, that one Organic Chem class lasted from after thanksgiving until May, at least they could have talked about it being part two of the class. And how do you NOT have a big Spring Break episode, that’s like a cornerstone of the college experience. I hope they are really getting rid of the unfunny and caustic Indian American girl, she drags the whole show down.

There is no way Mindy Kaling is ever letting them get rid of the Indian girl who wants to be in comedy. But she really is the worst part of the show--totally unfunny and not at all likable.

It's the easiest show in the world to watch. I get into bed watch 2 episodes and fall asleep. The boy porn is remarkable. It's unbelievably uncomplicated. The 4 woman who star could literally be replaced and I couldn't tell the difference.
