Played the major role of Arthur Fowler on EastEnders from the very first episode.

Odd trivia - several of his toes were severed when he was a teenager.

Terrible when a grand-uncle loses his grand-nephew.

I had so much more to teach him.

But I always kept the fish out of it. Of course.

Havent seen EastEnders for ages, but his is one of the characters that comes to mind as the nucleus of the series. I didn't realize that he was on the show for only 11 years -- and not for the past 27 years.
