Why Didn't Jodie Foster Help Buddy Foster?

Buddy was upset because his child earnings were used to support his mother and Jodie

Now years later he broke and Jodie won't give him a dime, but does support the mother financially

Though he wrote a book to at least make some money, that severed any remote chance of getting any money from Jodie. Once he wrote that book he was dead to Jodie.

Jodie would release a statement about the book Buddy wrote

"[a] cheap cry for attention and money, filled with hazy recollections, fantasies, and borrowed press releases. Buddy has done nothing but break our mother's heart his whole life."

Actually in Buddy's book, he says his mother took his money, and with a judge's approval, invested it in real estate which was all coincidentally co-owned by her or his siblings.

Thus when he was old enough to get money, he faced the option of not getting it or forcing the sale of the homes of his siblings putting them all out into the street.

He said when he told Jodie, she said, "I never saw any money I made as a kid either, what did you expect from mom."

Still it doesn't change the fact that his book was written long after Jodie became a big star and she should've helped him, because without using his TV shows to get Jodie on air at all, she'd have nothing.

Added to the fact the things he describes in the book. Like Jodie being gay, his mother being a stage mother lesbian was all true, something Jodie denied being true but now conveniently forgets.
