Did they film the movie in NY or was it another cheap Canadian production?

Most Hallmark movies take place in suburbia/small towns or even the country/farms. They’re catered to their audience. Very white, very straight, suburban women.

Maureen wouldn’t cry. If Maureen wanted to do a Hallmark movie, I’m sure she would. I’m sure they’d love to have her.

Funny that Eve ended up the most financially successful of all the them. She has a nice rich lady life.

Because of her wise parents. They bought that beach house for her for like $50k back in the 70s with her money, because they knew real estate is more valuable than anything. She was able to sell it for millions a few years ago, and bought herself an apartment in both LA and NYC.

Her Malibu Beach House was $55,300 in 1969, which is equivalent to over $440k in 2022. She sold it for almost 10x that.

“She” bought it in 1969, at 11 years old.

Eve owns two apartments in Manhattan. She owns the Midtown apartment she bought in 2016, after selling her beach house, and she owns an apartment on the Upper West Side, which she bought years ago.

As stated upthread, her parents were wise and taught her to invest in real estate from a young age, hence her living a calm, modestly rich lady life.

Her Midtown apartment was $1.65 million in 2016, I can only imagine it could be resold for more than double just 6 years later. Real estate prices are crazy right now.
