R3 - Hopper was a crazed, paranoid and violent man in the late '60s and early '70s with an out of this world appetite for drugs and alcohol. It's been a couple of decades since I read Easy Riders, Raging Bulls so I can't recall the details, but he was out of his mind and liked guns. I wouldn't put sexual assault past him.
