A Larry King Special: The Death of Angela Lansbury

Laughter is the best medicine.

by Anonymousreply 51October 13, 2022 10:20 PM

Liza, was Dracula his best role ?

by Anonymousreply 1October 11, 2022 9:28 PM

(hot mic mishap) Hey, Mike. Did Kennedy ball Lansbury or was she a dyke?

by Anonymousreply 2October 11, 2022 9:28 PM

On the line is Chuck Woolery remembering all the blow parties he attended with Angie - apparently she was a great flute player!

Next, Frozen Food czar Mike Tyson discusses the famous Lansbury Steak - a frozen treat with sentient brown gravy!

by Anonymousreply 3October 11, 2022 9:41 PM

Debbie Reynolds will be on air with recollections of her dear and personal friend.

by Anonymousreply 4October 11, 2022 9:43 PM

Welcome to a special edition of Larry King Live. Please give a warm welcome to my newest wife, Crystal King Minkoff, who is manning the phones and filling the tables with massage clients. Tiger mom, you say? No, tiger balm. She's quite the numbing agent.

Caller from Sheboygen, you're on the air. What did Beverly D' Angela and her role as Ellen Fletcher in "Vacation, She Wrote" mean to you?

by Anonymousreply 5October 11, 2022 9:49 PM

She is known as Dame, Mame and maim. So much murder, everywhere she went. I assume the world will surely miss Angela Merkel.

by Anonymousreply 6October 11, 2022 9:55 PM

“So when you played Mame at the Rose Garden Theater did you go to Luchow’s after the show?”

by Anonymousreply 7October 11, 2022 10:17 PM

It's funny you've got the same name as your character on Falcon Crest. Did The Hammer do that for you as a favourite?

Whaddaya mean she can't answer, she's dead?

by Anonymousreply 8October 11, 2022 10:21 PM

Tell, me how did you come up with the Cadbury Egg?

by Anonymousreply 9October 11, 2022 10:22 PM

Next up, Liza's gonna hum the theme from her murder show, The Pink Panther. Apparently Liza's about three songs into the sauce and that's all she can do.

Whaddaya mean, don't read the parts in the brackets?

by Anonymousreply 10October 11, 2022 10:22 PM

Next up, Murder She Spouts. Nancy Grace is gonna shout at us about who killed Angela Lansbury.

by Anonymousreply 11October 11, 2022 10:23 PM

On the line, Hollywood legends and aristocrats Sid Poitier and Harry Belafontaine. Gentleman: be honest - were old Lizzie and Angie MILFs? And who got the best able at Sardis? Dame Commander, Knight Commander or Frog Chevalier?

by Anonymousreply 12October 11, 2022 10:54 PM

And we're back to pay tribute to Mama June Angela, the formerly vivacious star of [italic]The Eclectic Company[/italic] and [italic]Here Comes Auntie Boo Boo.[/italic] Are we sure she's dead, fat or Japanese, though? We'll get to the bottom of it after this word from Rose Milk, the hand lotion with pizzazz.

by Anonymousreply 13October 11, 2022 11:10 PM

Joining us now to talk about her hit song about the much accomplished actress is Helen Reddy.

Helen, welcome, tell us why you decided to write this tribute song, Angie Baby.

She starred with the Rat Pack in several movies and then went on to break new ground with her drama Police Woman. But let's not forget what she did in between there --- she flew around outer space in Lost in Space while climbing every mountain in Sound of Music.

So sad the great Angela Lansbury is no longer with us.

by Anonymousreply 15October 11, 2022 11:20 PM

She was the Manchurian candidate, but did she win or lose the election? I'm gonna check with my producer and we'll have that answer for you right after this word from Garlique.

by Anonymousreply 16October 11, 2022 11:32 PM

These suck.

by Anonymousreply 17October 11, 2022 11:34 PM

Apparently she was a very famous murder writer. Everyone at The Palm says that. Next, we'll have Charro to sing a special tribute in Lansbury's native language: British

by Anonymousreply 18October 11, 2022 11:55 PM

Do we know if she was close to any of the other Golden Girls cast members?

by Anonymousreply 19October 12, 2022 12:03 AM

🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏

by Anonymousreply 20October 12, 2022 12:59 AM

For the life of me, folks, I don't know why we haven't got Tony Danza on either. But I'm told the paddles worked, so after the break her co-star: Dick Van Dyke!

by Anonymousreply 21October 12, 2022 1:03 AM

She played so many British roles brilliantly. Did she just have a natural ear for accents?

by Anonymousreply 22October 12, 2022 1:27 AM

Helen Mirren, you were a contemporary of Angela’s. Did you ever collaborate on the British stage?

by Anonymousreply 23October 12, 2022 1:29 AM

From the Portrait of Christian Gray and Blue Velvet to the Candidate, she leaves behind an enviable film legacy.

by Anonymousreply 24October 12, 2022 1:48 AM

After the break Jack Valenti joins me to discuss the implications of this news on the prospects for a Murder She Wrote reboot.

by Anonymousreply 25October 12, 2022 2:37 AM

GRAND RAPIDS, HELLO!!!

by Anonymousreply 26October 12, 2022 3:02 AM

In 1980, Dame Angela Bower co-starred in 'The Mirror Has Two Ass Cracks', starring Dame Liz Hurley and The Rock. Charlie Chaplin also co-starred...Charles, how was it working with Dame Judith Light? Up next is fri3nd of the show Dame Joan Collins, who somehow isn't dead yet.

by Anonymousreply 28October 12, 2022 3:11 AM

Larry, didnt you invite Mick Jagger on the show?

by Anonymousreply 29October 12, 2022 4:34 AM

Next up, her daughter Angelynne- best known for her billboard tributes to her beloved mother.

by Anonymousreply 30October 12, 2022 4:39 AM

What channel is this on?

by Anonymousreply 31October 12, 2022 4:49 AM

The one that no one watches.

by Anonymousreply 32October 12, 2022 5:34 AM

For all the people who claim that DL is all angry trolls and no clever, witty threads…I submit this thread for your consideration.

by Anonymousreply 33October 12, 2022 5:47 AM

She always did anal on the first date.

by Anonymousreply 34October 12, 2022 5:50 AM

I'll show you Cabot Cove.

by Anonymousreply 35October 12, 2022 5:51 AM

Breaking News:

Star of such movies as Hot Chocolate, Brown Sugar, and a personal favorite, Naughty Negros, Angela Davis has died at the age of 69er. Most noted for her Afro-like bush and ability to suck the skin off a grape from 30ft away, Angela also invented communism, grape-flavored hair relaxer, and anal bleach. She was also apparently British and often passed for white.

Rest In Peace.

Up Next: Gayle King pleasures herself LIVE!!!

by Anonymousreply 36October 12, 2022 6:14 AM

Is this show going to get canceled when CNN changes hands?

by Anonymousreply 37October 12, 2022 11:57 AM

[quote]s this show going to get canceled when CNN changes hands?

Don't worry. Even if it does get canceled, it will get syndicated on DataLounge.

by Anonymousreply 38October 12, 2022 5:22 PM

Angelina Jolie? Didn't she play that model Mia?

by Anonymousreply 39October 12, 2022 5:31 PM

On the line we've got the beloved Cabot Cunt's favorite relative. Grady, tell us what it was like to be the nephew of everyone's favorite Rose Milk-scented detective, while simultaneously being the best friend of everyone's favorite cantankerous black junk yard dog Fred Sanford? The stories must write themselves.

by Anonymousreply 40October 12, 2022 5:47 PM

Next up we have Jon Hamm, who's currently starring in the "Murder, She Wrote" spinoff, "Fletch."

by Anonymousreply 41October 12, 2022 6:14 PM

What was it like being married to Charles Laughton?

by Anonymousreply 42October 12, 2022 6:35 PM

Proud to speak now to Steven Sondberg, who directed Angie playing Mrs Lover in the hit film 'The Demon Barbershop', starring with of course, Johnny Deep. Steve, we know you do words and music - but did you also teach Angie how to bake pies?

by Anonymousreply 43October 12, 2022 7:25 PM

Viewers at home, you're watching a scene from the movie National Steeple chase starring the esteemed actress and candy heiress Angela Cadbury, Mickey Rooney, and a very young Liz Taylor. Joan, I think I read somewhere that THIS was the film in which Angela and young Liz heavily imbibed Black Velvet throughout the shoot, both of them descending into horrific alcoholism before Miss Cadbury overcame with her smashing comeback on Broadway starring as Mamie Eisenhower in "The Little Coloreds......." Who are we talking about, again?

by Anonymousreply 44October 12, 2022 7:32 PM

B U M P

by Anonymousreply 45October 12, 2022 7:50 PM

So, Your Royal Highness Dame Joan Collins, maybe you can clear up something people keep asking about.

Did Angela catch the clap or syph first and which one did she give to Jerry Van Dyke?

by Anonymousreply 46October 12, 2022 8:26 PM

Is Joan now the oldest living Dame?

by Anonymousreply 47October 12, 2022 8:32 PM

She played the role of Lyle Lovett on Broadway...

by Anonymousreply 48October 12, 2022 8:50 PM

My producer is telling me ... yes, yes -- it's true! We now have celebrated actress Donna Pescow who played Lansbury in a sitcom! Donna ... how did she feel about your treatment of her? And we're trying to get your co-star Debralee Scott on the line ...

by Anonymousreply 49October 12, 2022 10:46 PM

Next up we'll have Natalie Woods who played Angie's daughter in GYPPED......and Carol Burnett who played Angie's daughter in the movie HARPO.....but first a word from Betty Furness for Purina......the first name in kitchen appliances....

by Anonymousreply 50October 13, 2022 6:16 PM

Honey, Joan isn't the oldest living dame- the oldest living whore is more like it.
