My experience is that if you block a thread, it disappears, but if someone then posts on that thread, it gets unblocked for some reason. This didn't happen in the past. I agree it's annoying.

I haven't had that functionality for months. Anyone else have their W&Ws and block icons removed and replaced with a square and arrow that doesn't do anything?

I've found that threads stay blocked until you close the window or quit your browser. The blocking works temporarily but doesn't stick.

Then I realised I had blocked 80% of them.
Some eldergay mentioned that Datalounge was divided between the 'Entertainment threads' and the 'Political threads back in the olden days.
