From same website as "Scruffy Sunday" collection of photos.
These heartbreaking and incredibly moving images show the affection and love shown during the height of the Aids crisis.
Photographer Gideon Mendel’s project The Ward began in 1993 when he spent a number of weeks on the Charles Bell wards in London’s Middlesex Hospital.
All the patients on the ward were dying with the knowledge that there was no cure for the disease.
During this time antiretroviral medications were not available and patients on the ward faced the prospect of an early death.

That first one is vintage? With his Velcro shoes?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 6, 2022 11:34 PM |
Puma released trainers with Velcro back in 1968 my dear.

Wait. 1968 is vintage?

One of the comments on that photo say it’s a Dolce & Gabbana ad from 1999.

Is the guy on the top left of the link the guy who runs the website? He’s blazing hot!

"No idea if these two guys were a couple although they certainly look cute together."
says everything you need to know about this sort of endeavor.

That’s what I thought, R7. There’s no verification that there are any actual gay couples in those photos except for the 2-3 known ones.

"I love this week’s vintage gay photo of Frank and Jack which dates back 80 years ago to 1942. I’d love to know if they were more than friends."
So in what way is this a "vintage gay photo" since the person KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE MEN PICTURED??

More than a couple I think, but haven't examined entire collection.

"It is not clear when this photo of two friends (maybe more) was taken, but I’ll guess the early 1950s based on what appears to be a higher waist bathing suit being worn by the guy on the right. I love how happy they both look but especially the guy on the left who also happens to have a beautiful smile."
E.G. He labels this "VINTAGE GAY" and has no idea about the people and their relationship.
This cunt is a piece of work.

Yes 50% of the photos are identifiable gays.
50% are not and it's REPULSIVE appropriation showing no respect of the unknown people pictured.

First of all you aged gay, enough with word "cunt", it only gives game away that you're older than dirt and spit,
Two you and rest should stop ragging on BosGuy for his use of "may or may not be gay..." Nearly every other website or whatever the puts up collections of pictures featuring two or more men does same fucking thing. That's when they bother to put in a disclaimer at all, good number just post random "vintage pictures" and leave viewers to draw their own conclusions.

Weak sauce R14. Are you the blogger?

Jerry Rocco & Erman Cassamassa were "beefcake" body builder models back in day. Don't think either were gay, but still *Big Daddy*!

Anyone can do this and it's gross.
This week's vintage gay photo is there two handsome soldiers. They may be Turkish or Bolivian or Romanian, it's not clear. They may be brothers. Or they may not know each other before this photo. But it's clear in this week's vintage gay photo there is energy between them so I wonder if they were more than comrade in arms. This may be WWI or maybe its the Italian–Ottoman crisis of 1902 or another war but this is the vintage gay photo of the week and aren't they intense but also somehow super gay!

This weeks vintage gay photo is this cute soldier. It's not clear what nation or what service or what time but he sure looks gay to me and has a twinkle in his eye because his lover is taking the photo, don't you think? So it's this week's vintage gay photo.

Photos in R1 linked series were taken at the HIV/AIDS hospice opened (and often visited IIRC) by late Diana, Princess of Wales.
