This show is completely off the rails. Everyday a new set, everyday a new character. Stories are dropped, characters disappear for weeks or months, nothing is resolved in any meaningful way.

I know GH lovers hated Ron at the end, but I hope he watches this shit at night and laughs his ass off.

Young Chavez is really pleased about being featured in People magazine.

He has photos on Instagram of himself at a newsstand purchasing the issue.

I know it's probably choreographed by his publicist but I still find it off-putting.

Young Chavez will be a nobody after GH.

The Hooker will be the DA lady that lost the Trina case and will also be Finn's wife's sister (because everyone is related in Port Charles) hence the knowledge of the poison.

But there's a twist, she's also Rory's mother. He'll die saving Trina, the final girl clearing the way for Sprina. And Esme will help somehow, getting her cleared and pardoned from all charges like a million other characters who literally got away with murder.

I just hope before she gets to Trina after she takes out half the cast.

There was no interaction or acknowledgement between the DA and Rory in the court scenes though. He’s another useless character. I’m not sure I understand why GH won’t capitalize on the positive feedback they’ve gotten for Spencer and Trina. No photoshoots, no events, no movement in their story. Instead they bring in Rory, an older cop for the lone Black female teen to date.

I hate Rory.

Is Chavez the new Bryan Craig?

I don't know whether Nicholas Chavez hired a publicist or not. But it may have been a photographer with the show who took the photos of him seeing the People magazine at the newsstand.

That was good publicity for the show as well, so very possible it was a GH photographer.

Chavez and Ali did one Zoom event, together, I think—it sold out instantly. I think Frank knows he has the audience on the hook with #Sprina but, as usual, he’s dragging it out past the point of comprehension.

Build up the audience anticipation and keep them coming back. That's how they built up loyal viewers who were invested in couples and hoping they would get together.

Chavez is actually talented and handsome unlike dopey Craig who looks like a foot. This kid has got a year left on his contract. He’s definitely going to jump ship. GH did let him film a movie though back when Spencer was in Spring Ridge.

And this has stopped the writers when exactly? The story of Elizabeth's blackouts is now about Finn's wife who she has never met or had an interaction with. I don't think common sense or coherent story beats are really anything these writers are grappling with.

The performances were universally bad on Thursday. That said, Josh Swickard is painfully attractive.

Why can’t they make Liz front and center? Her tortured heroine should be the star of this show instead of the likes of Ava, Nina, and Carly.

Liz certainly defied her age on the show for many years, but having her hair pulled back like in yesterday's show, makes it look like she's now almost ready for her scenes as a grandmother

Curtis' bar lighting makes Liz look ancient (and hair and wardrobe are obviously mad at her), and Teri and Madame Wu like boys. (Yes, I know...) Good thing Maxie was around to distract with her enormity.

Loved when Yuri motioned to himself and Finn and said "two beards."

This Reiko story is ridiculous. Did Frank decide, again, not to cast a Jeff Webber thus the abrupt U-turn to this snoozefest past Finn connection.

Frank needs to be escorted from the premises by Security with his belongings in a cardboard box.

I doubt Frank even watches the show. He's no visionary. He balances the budget for salaries and set construction, and lets the writers run wild. No one in their right mind would have all these peripheral characters and one-time sets. Actually, nobody and ABC watches the show. Only the numbers.

Most are assuming that Esme's little secret weapon is that she's preggers with a Cassadine heir (either Nik's or Spencer's) and maybe she is, but she also picked up some heavy leverage against Joss when she was eavesdropping on her and Trina outside Kelly's. Joss was going on and on about how she witnessed a major crime over at Sonny's place with Dex and the Carver, but that she's withholding the information from the police. Es looked verrry interested in that revelation...

If Esme’s pregnant, it’s not Spencer’s…the show made a big point of establishing that they stopped fucking long before she slept with Nik.

Apparently it runs in the family since they turned good-hearted Dr. Rick Webber into a sex-crazed murderer when they brought him back 20 years ago.

Maybe Father Griffin will be summoned to perform an exorcism on Trina when it's revealed that she's been the killer all along, apparently under the spell of demonic possession. At some point, though, his doctoring skills will kick in and he realizes it's schizophrenia, instead, thus triggering the big paternity reveal.

That tulip table sure gets a workout, though. It keeps showing up everywhere- Maxie's dining alcove, Crimson's reception area, the police commissioner's office, and a whole bunch of other rando places.

Now that Esme's locked in the tower, how long before the beheading? After the heir is born, which suddenly shows up as "adopted," or will Ava get in on the scheme and pretend to be pregnant herself so they can pass it off as hers and Nik's?

The thing about Cam is that he's cute, but he's not soap opera leading man hot like Dex is. They are only three options for him: 1) turn him into a villain keeping Joss and Dex apart; 2) the character leaves town for awhile and they recast; 3) move him into a different direction altogether, they could always use another doctor.

NuNik locking Esme in the dusty room was the liveliest thing that’s happened on GH in months. Enjoy the books!

Or—hear me out—Spencer gets out of prison and has a brief bout of bisexual experimentation with Cam (who is not related to him by blood) before inevitably ending up with Trina.

Imagine how much more interesting the storyline would be if the role of aristocratic Nik was being played by an actor with presence and depth rather than this surfer dude whose entire repertoire consists of blinking with mouth slightly ajar.

I'm ready for the return of Earth Mother Laura (pre psychotic break). They can (seriously) kill Nikolas and Elizabeth, and Laura and Kevin can raise Jake and Aiden at Wyndamere, with Cam home for holidays and Spencer living there, too. Hell, Ava could inherit half, and she and Avery can also live there.

Without Lulu or Lucky, there's really no reason for Laura to stick around. And that's coming from a gay dude who has loved Genie since 1978.

Finola has also said that Tristan was a big ad-libber in their heyday. She had to watch his mouth closely and when his mouth finally stopped moving she knew it was her turn, she couldn't rely on the usual word cues. She also said she slugged him once after a scene where he went totally off the rails and nowhere near what was scripted.

KT did a fan event in New Jersey today at which she did confirm that she is leaving. She’s also done at Station 19 for now so it’s off into the unknown next thing for her.

She was pretty honest about her dislike for Britt’s current storyline, and is disappointed that the Britt/Jason romance couldn’t play out.

I agree KT should do well and I hope she does. She's a good and versatile actress who can do both drama and comedy.

However, the initial confusion where she posted on social media that she was going to do both shows and then that was taken down. Now it turns out the primetime gig was just recurring or temporary and yet she still chose to leave GH. This makes me think something is amiss. Yes they brought on a new character for her but both the character and actor are subpar so I'm not sure she's flattered by their solution for her. I'm just an observer and I'm insulted for her at the storyline they came up with for her. Couple with that odd fake kiss with Cody where she covered her face with her hair so she didn't have to actually kiss him... Someone here said the fake kiss was due to COVID but I'm not buying that lame excuse at this point where all soap and primetime actors are kissing again. Something went terribly wrong behind the scenes in my opinion and she's not burning bridges but she's not happy either.

Whatever the case, she was six years younger when she left GH last time and ended up mostly waitressing and bartending. She's 40 now and it ain't going to be easy... On the other hand her boyfriend is from England and they travel back and forth to see each other. Maybe she will relocate to England and end up on one of their soaps.

As an 80's gayling, I'm beyond excited that Cole Gioberti and Gonzo Gates will both be on the show. But, as mentioned above, there's no room for them, Denise included, and they'll be sidelined and gone in no time. Stunt casting doesn't seem to impact GH's numbers, so why not cut some dead weight so the stories can be fleshed out?

Victor is so setting up Anna for Lucy's shooting. The gun used will be the item Johann stole from her bedroom, mark my words. Today you could see a dark blue plaid scarf when they showed the shooter from behind and I have a feeling we'll be seeing it again, keep your eyes peeled.

They made the shooter look like it was a woman and also someone that Lucy recognized. I'll be watching for a dark blue plaid scarf in upcoming scenes with the deputy mayor that is working for Victor

Another notable thing was the way Lucy said "What are YOU doing here?" in an annoyed way. If it was Johann, for example, she would have assumed he was there on Victor's behalf to escort her to the boat. If it was a brainwashed Holly, as some have suggested, her reaction would have been more shock and surprise than anything else. Ditto for any of the other big bads (Cassandra, Helena, Peter, etc.) that have been presumed dead. Yes, she knows the deputy mayor is shifty, but would she have spoken to her in such a familiar way? I don't think they've ever met. So far it's the best option, though.

Lol it took 25 years for Liz to have her dad back in town and for her mother to finally arrive because none of the previous writers cared enough to bring them aboard. Dan O'Connor likes to utilize history as much as he can so I'm pretty sure this was his idea, however Frank will.more than likely turn it into a Finn's story like someone mentioned. I still think they should've cast Kim Zimmer & Robert Newman 😆 if they're only on short-term, however this casting seems fine. I agree with someone else that they should've cast someone who resembled Becky more as her mom, unless they're planning to reveal that she's not actually her mom, and maybe it's someone else from the past, like Annie Logan.

Becky used to pretend Annie Logan was Elizabeth's mother btw around the time she first started, for the hw's didn't know her mother's name lol and old fanfic boards referred to her mom as Andrea Webber. When Rachel/Hayden and her mom Naomi arrived, there were rumors that then writers Jean/Shelly wanted her to be Elizabeth's twin, with Naomi as the mother of both, however either Frank or ABC nixed that idea.

When they showed the drone footage my initial reaction was that it was hacked and altered, but now some are saying it could be Anna's twin Alex. Makes sense that she would throw in with somebody like Victor and that she would hate Anna enough to do this to her. Either way, arranging a filming by the New York State tourism board plausibly fits as something the deputy mayor could have set up for her part in the scheme even if she's not the shooter.

Carolyn is such a BORING name for the character. It has no flare or flavor. Nothing exciting or exotic about it at all.

Ah, the stunning mountainous coastline of Jacksonville, FL or anywhere in Florida for that matter! Beautiful!

R155 - Those were the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's a clear view of them from the Jacksonville coast on the Atlantic.

This is the same show that has placed Port Charles an hour drive from Manhattan and Rochester, while Niagara Falls can be crossed on a tiny bridge in the Spencer's backyard while also being an hour drive from both Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania.

Someone desperately needs to tell the writing staff about googlemaps.

It’s insane how much this show hypes up everything Carly. What the hell does Laura Wright have on these people? She’s not pretty, terrible one-note acting, a fairly dislike character… A location shoot for Carly and Drew? A million sets for this stupid Jacksonville story? JFC.

Carolyn was named as Jeff’s new wife years before Liz showed up. And teenage Liz described her family as “blonde.” There’s nothing these writers can come up with to justify them staying away from her for 25 years. I guess that’s why they brought in Finn and Reiko. They couldn’t even fake a phone call onscreen or mention Liz going to visit over the years. When she was with Franco she told him they didn’t seem to want her in their lives. It was always bizarre.

I hope the writers double down on Jeff and Carolyn's contempt for Liz, and they tell her she was a major disappointment who kept having babies with men who weren't her husband. Sarah was their favorite and Liz was a mistake. Then she can really break and murder Finn, Amy, Teri and Epiphany. Maybe a life sentence as Heather's roommate where they can eat BLTs and paint portraits of Franco.

Does Vanessa Marcil still act? She's never gone this long without returning. I'm not necessarily clamoring for a Brenda return but just curious.

They now shoot the show at a much faster pace than even when VM was last on. A lot of actors can't handle it. Donna Mills was fine with killing off her character since she couldn't handle the pace. It's also likely why we haven't gotten a Kim Delany return. VM also seems like she wouldn't enjoy working on the show now

Marcus C. is on Mo's State of Mind AGAIN today. He was on just a couple of months ago.

MC sure knows how to ingratiate himself to the right people. He teaches Xenu courses. I wonder if he teaches one on "How to schmooze your way into job security despite a total lack of talent".

I doubt Mo will ask him about Xenu or why he doesn't believe in the psychiatric drug's Mo has been on for over 30 years that saved his life.
