I watched him make petit fours out of Sara Lee pound cake and Smucker's jam and preserves. He didn't even use Bonne Maman preserves. End result was not a pretty sight. Twenty five minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Yes I am correct. He's a somewhat well known garden blogger. Here is a tour of his garden. He's seem cheery and pleasant. I don't have much snark stuck in my throat.

He put in some very nice hedges. Here's some snark: his designed gardens are way too labour intensive, diminutive yet aspirational. I have at several friends his age with these boxwood "gardens" as if they are maintaining gilded age IMPORTANT HOUSES and I feel a bit sad sitting near them because the scale is so disappointing.

There was a time when being a cocksucker or a fudgepacker wasn't one thing while being a homosexual or queer was another. It still exists in many cultures. I feel bad trashing his petit fours recipe so I'm back to report a friend made his Orange Marmalade cake and it was good. But what really won me over was his Friselle recipe. My Nonna made friselle and I loved them especially with tomatoes from her garden and olive oil as Kevin has done. He doesn't strike as being of Italian descent but his appreciation for this typical Nonna food has won me over and I even subscribed.

I like Kevin as well as Nicolas because their videos are so calming and soothing to me.

I may have to make Kevin's Lemon Pudding Cake.

I've never been tempted, not even once, to make any of darling Nicolas' recipes. Not one. Ever.

I've been watching Kevin for a while now. His videos are calming; however, I don't find NF calming in the least. The house is nice but clearly needs updating, and I rarely say this, but it's under-decorated (and fairly small). It's weird that "Mr. Fox" is never around, but Kevin has explained he doesn't like to be filmed. Mix a little NF, a LOT of Sandra Lee, dust it with Martha Stewart, and you've got Kevin!
