I think this is more common than not. If you're very attractive, there's no need to develop a personality or be funny or charming. It's easy to be an empty vessel because people will gravitate to you and want to be your friend or lover. Many attractive people with personalities usually weren't the cutest or popular kids when young. Someone like Matt Bomer never seemed to have an awkward phase.

R11 Good list but I wouldn't call Charlie Sheen uninteresting. He's crazy as hell and he is funny. I'd swap him with Ashton Kutcher who is intelligent to an extent but still very vacuous. Mel Gibson is just evil.

Henry Cavill gives off that empty vessel vibe to me, although I have to admit that I've never even seen one of his movies. I'll often watch a movie just because there's a hot actor in it, and Cavill is obviously incredibly handsome, but for some reason I just couldn't be bothered.

Incidentally, created a thread asking about people's keyboard preferences because I had switched to a mechanical keyboard because it was the only 'normal' size keyboard I could find when my last keyboard gave out... so, didn't have a lot of options. But they keys require more pressure than I'm used to and there seems to be a bit of echo issue and input lag, too. But not as if I'm not without my own set of problems, too.

Keanu is kinda secretive. He really doesn't talk about his perfect life unlike the others like Rob Lowe and he doesn't do the PR crap like Leonardo DiCaprio. He could be boring but it's really hard to tell. He's like an old school Hollywood celebrity who chose to keep his life private and it helped maintain an air of mystery. He does hint at a quirky sense of humor and has many hobbies like poetry and collecting motorcycles. He could be more intelligent than he lets on. He doesn't seem vapid to me like Johnny Depp who pretends to be more intelligent than he is.

I have always liked Keanu more than vapid arrogant Johnny Depp. I recall reading something about how Keanu manages his money well and doesn't believe in being a huge spender like Depp was.

That's true for most of these guys... like someone said up thread about how some attractive people just don't really build up much else because they rely too much on their looks. The same could be said to anyone with a singular strength. Not just looks. There's many famous nerds we could point to that could be just as dull and often in the early part of their lives. . . as they generally have all that drive or focus towards improving a singular point. renaissance men are hard to find.

Like many others, Dean Cain is a factor of his upbringing. He was raised in a Republican household so much of the views he has were instilled in him by the time he reached adulthood. Some individuals who are open minded can see beyond their established political viewpoint, others can't. I never had a problem with friends or relatives being Republicans because it was rarely a defining part of their character. Today however, if you are a Trump supporter, who has no ethics or respect for our constitution, then you are following a cult leader, not a political party that upholds policies or standards. In the 1930s Hitler was in the National Socialist German Workers' Party, but he turned it into the NAZI party. Trump turned the Republican party in the MAGA party. History may not necessarily repeat itself, but it often rhymes.
