Is Michelle Obama the most beautiful First Lady?

Of course she isn't. Most first ladies have been plain at best, just as their husbands were far from handsome. Michelle Obama is ugly inside and out (that is why she is best friends with degenerate war criminal and homicidal maniac George W Bush), and her hypocrisy completely destroys whatever appeal she might have originally had.

She is pretty and dignified. But Melania is more beautiful. That isn’t to say she is anywhere near the kind of figure that Michelle is. But, from a purely appearance point of view, of course Melania is more beautiful.

Melania is a whore, and looks every bit the part. Michelle Obama, while a great First Lady, is not a beautiful woman.

Obviously Michelle is the most beautiful……….and sensual and……most …….wet First Lady to be played by a Oscar winning legend.

Michelle's attractivish. That's about it. Barack's very good looking.

Michelle is very pretty. She is also a very big woman. As in large. I don't think she's the most beautiful. Actually hate me if you wish but I think Hillary...on her good days looked better than Michelle . Michelle looked gorgeous when she was formally dressed. I think I loved 85% of her formal attire choices. But Hillary got better as she g ot older and actually during her term as First Lady (8yrs) she looked good. Jackie Kennedy IMO wins to title of "most beautiful" First Lady. Yes I know her eyes were too far apart. But she was the most attractive of the lot. So my Top 3 are Jackie as #1, Michelle as #2 and Hillary as #3. We don't have a lot of choices here.Nancy Barbara Bush, Laura, Rosalyn Carter, I mean come on. Laura and Roslyn weren't bad in their Prime. In fact I'll give Laura Bush the #4 spot.

She is sporty, if you like that sort of thing.

R1 - A friend of mine is one of Michelle O's very best friends and has been for decades ... considering what kind of starched-collar standards my friend has, I couldn't imagine Michelle O. (or her husband, for that matter) being anything other than a very upright person.

Grace Coolidge was a very attractive woman, although in this portrait her image is greatly enhanced by the inclusion of the handsome First Dog - the Coolidges' white collie, Rob Roy.

This is gross. I mean, it seems like it worked out for them, but I just hate this whole gross thing where someone watches somebody grow up as a kind of surrogate daughter and then marries her. And yet, I think it was kind of a norm in a lot of small towns and villages going back in history.

I love Michelle. I don't know if she's the most attractive, but she's certainly the most charismatic First Lady of my lifetime and is perfect for the TV generation rather than the photo generation.

For most chic first lady, Jackie wins. But in terms of beauty, Michelle Obama is somewhere down the list near Eleanor Roosevelt (who was probably overall most admirable.)

She was especially lovely when dressed more formally or really dressed up for an event. There is a such a dissonance in their appearances now with all of Barack's grey hair. He should have started the Grecian Formula or something more than a dozen years ago.

I've always loved this portrait of Grace Coolidge, R12, but if you look at actual photos of her the portrait seems to enhance her beauty substantially. Nonetheless, this probably my favorite portrait of a first lady. Thanks for sharing.

Here’s a photo of Mrs Coolidge. The painting is very flattering, is it a John Singer Sergeant? It’s that style. This photo is a bit flattering too, I’ve seen her from other angles that are a little less flattering. But her coloring was very striking

I hate to flatter Nancy Reagan, she was an anorexic looking elderly lady, not like vibrant, youthful Jackie or Michelle, but recently I came across some pictures of her during Reagan’s term. I will say, she knew how to dress and groom herself to best advantage. For her age and the era, she was very well turned out. Especially considering the Eighties were generally very tacky and everything was overdone. A lot of other women of her age would have dressed a lot dowdier, but she really took her job as hostess of the White House seriously and wore things related to their guests. If you know how tastelessly everyone dressed back in the day, I think she had some good taste, because her photos hold up well. The dress in the picture was one she wore to a White House event with some Saudi, so it had to be very covered up.

Is this a joke, OP. She’s built like a trucker. She’s not pretty in any sense or dimension but is very classy and well educated.

Grace Coolidge was probably very pretty when she was young. That pic posted looks like she is in her 50s. Faded beauty I don't think Michell is pretty at all. But she made up for it with charm and intelligence.

Of the more recent First Ladies, Laura Bush is probably the most conventionally attractive.

Laura is a pretty girl, and has grown into an attractive matron. But she is pretty in a plain way, like Hillary. Michelle and Jackie are in your face pretty.

Make the effort to really see Pat Nixon by setting aside who she married.

Imho, "Pretty" is a word invented for her. Her face was classic conventional pretty in a way that exceeded any other recent FL.

I adore Michelle Obama and Jackie is my favorite FL, but in terms of sheer prettiness, Pat Nixon all the way.

Michelle Obama is naturally pretty, athletic, and obviously leads a clean cut lifestyle. She also carries herself beautifully. To me she is like a sportswear model for a department store in terms of looks but with a royal bearing.
