I loved Shangela and Glebs dance! It was one of the rare times I wished the dance was longer! It felt too short. I was so into it lol.

Gleb is in his element this season and has been phenomenal. He has created his best dance routines this season, and seems a lot more calm and relaxed. He also seems to be having fun.

Him and Shangela are fun to watch in interviews together.

R528 I thought the same thing. It was boring but Charli and Mark were very exciting to watch. I didn't want their dances to end. Shangie and Gleb's freestyle was incredible, until Eureka blobbed onto the stage! Gabby was boring. Wayne was boring and that Fat Albert WIG! I liked the Len tributes and noticed in the old days they sat SO CLOSE to each other they were practically in each other's laps!

I would have gone with Gabby to win; she was the best; after the freestyle, I so wanted Shangela and Gleb (who's never won) to win.

Wayne made that crack about Trevor jumping ahead of him after a group dance bump which made him look pissed off. The man's made millions of Let's Make a Deal and I think they only mentioned him hosting that show once or twice in finale; tho that might have been a Disney+ thing.

I can see Disney+ not wanting to promote a CBS show; it's amazing he was on at all given that he's a regular on a show on a rival network.

Charli may have been the more technically proficient dancer but Gabby, IMHO, just brought more joy to the dance floor. Mark took Charli along on the journey; I saw Val and Gabby as more equals in many ways; they went on the journey together.

Disney+ and all streaming channels/outlets want subscribers. It was very smart of them to cast a TikTok star with 146 million followers, most of them young people. They probably picked up some subscribers.

This was one of the most competitive seasons of DWTS I'd ever seen. I'd hope that Gleb and Shangela could have won but they weren't going to.

I wish they'd show the voting numbers somewhere online. I'm just curious if they were all close, or if Charli was way ahead of all of them. I only watched for Shangela this season, even though I used to watch it all the time. I'm not sure I like it on Disney + but I love that they put a drag queen on it. Now let's see if they put two guys on next season!

Even the show lets people vote for a couple as soon as the show starts BEFORE they even see the dance.

One thing I didn't buy about Charli was her giving up dancing; that was package filler.

The stars earn $100k-$125k just for appearing. So whoever leaves first made that much for showing up. They make an additional $10k a week for the first 4 weeks they survive. After week 4 the amount goes up and then whoever makes semi-finals makes more, and then the finalists make more for that final week, with the winner getting a bonus.

Week five sees an additional $15,000 tacked on, weeks six and seven add $20,000 per week, and weeks eight and nine equal $30,000 extra for the celebs.

There is also an additional $50,000 for those who make it to the semi-finals and finale.
