The Prince and Princess of Wales considering taking 9 year old Prince George to the Queens funeral

Nine is old enough. I think Charlotte may be old enough for some of it. Children go to church all the time. Why are we making a big deal of it.

The actual church service is not that long and in a relatively private place.

Yay! The Princess of Wales will finally be able to say she got the shit slapped out of her at a state funeral! And according to “Tatler,” Prince Louis has been working on his backhand.

I always assumed the two older kids would attend. They seem well behaved.

I never understood Harry still whining about walking behind his mother's coffin. At 12 I was mature enough that I would have insisted in honoring my mother by doing that. Has Harry always been a pampered baby?

r7 I think if he hadn't of walked behind the coffin he would have complained years later that he was denied the opportunity. You can't win with people like Harry. Also a numbers of royal biographies point to it being the Spencer family wanting the boys to walk behind the coffin not the royal family.

I wasn’t allowed to attend my first funeral until I was in high school (15). I’m not sure how I feel about that - maybe it was right if my parents to shield me, maybe it wasn’t. Every parent has to decide for their own children.
