Bowie, Gaga, Whitney, Cher, Janet and others had to be successes in music first before acting. He's not an old school teen star that a sitcom built around his career like David Cassidy, Brandy or Miley Cyrus either. Hilary Duff, Ariana Grande, Zendaya and Raven had successful TV shows first before they pushed for singing. And while JB is part of an ensemble Disney Plus show and he's not even the breakout star like that Olivia girl, he does not have a huge fanbase enough that will support his music.

If yall bothered to watch his Zach Sang interview, you'd know he's never had a positive sexual experience with a male. His first experience was at 5 with a relative that his Christian family pressed him to conceal. His second was at a Christian theater group where the guy was 18/19 and Joshua was 13. He told this guy about his molestation experience at 5, and the guy, full of guilt himself, told Joshua it was disgusting and to never talk about it again. At 16, he had his last experience with an older boy in a Christian school, also non-consensual, which a teacher spread all over the school, to the point that none of his friends believed him when he tried to tell them he didn't consent and the story was not accurate. He has extended breaks in his memory from those experiences at 5, remembering only "flashbulb" images.

At this point, I don't even care if he's superstraight, I'd say he's taken enough loads to be an honorary queer for life, if he's not queer already.
