I don't like judging people on their looks since no one can help what they look like. I'm more affected by personalities. Certain people can just rub you the wrong way. James Woods isn't the most attractive guy but I'm way more put off by his hateful personality than his looks.

So I hate being mean but someone who rubs me wrong on every level is Sarah Sherman, one of the recent additions to SNL. I guess I'd generously describe her as 'quirky-looking' but her wardrobe and styling only accentuate the negatives. (She seems to be going for a vintage Billie Jean King vibe but often dresses like a member of Kaptain Kool and the Kongs.) Add to that an abrasive, obnoxious comedy style and I have a visceral hate reaction when she comes on TV. She may be a lovely person but I just can't stand watching her

People's looks and manner and appeal (or lack thereof) can change over time. To take two names mentioned upthread--I used to enjoy Amy Schumer's skit show, and I thought Michael Cera was odd-looking but endearing and funny as a teen on Arrested Development.

But I recently watched Amy's new show. To be blunt, they both look hideous. She was never a beauty, but she is aging badly (at 41) and looks porcine and bloated. Cera is only 34 but looks equally as unattractive, and his high, boyish voice is much more off-putting coming from a mature man.

I stopped watching the series, as they are now actors I hate to look at. Too bad.

Lens Dungham, definitely, not only do I find her homely middle-aged face and rabbit teeth repulsive (she looked middle aged in her 20s!), don't forget the way she trolls the public with her vile shapeless blob of a body, she's absolutely disgusting.

Not sure where she gets the fat gene, both her parents are slim. Think her sister is a normal weight, the sister looked fine in Lens first film.

Amy Schumer looks like a Cabbage Patch doll, plus, her nose is too small for her face, that's not such a great nose job.

Tyler Perry. He has the gayest face I've ever seen.

Lena Dunham was never a beauty, but she really wasn't so bad in her early 20s. Almost passable looking.

Leslie Jones-probably the ugliest female SNL cast member of all time.

Robert Ryan. It has nothing to do with him as a person. He was well-educated, a liberal, and an all-around good person. But as a kid, I think I saw too many movies where he was really mean and he scared me.

Hamish is actually a great comedic actor, he was one of the best parts of "The New Adventures of Old Christine" series. Hamish was also quite good in a dramatic role in "Midnight Mass".

I've also never seen Bomer or Linklater "visibly lolling tongue and spittle flying everywhere while screaming ". Neither Bomer or Linklater even look "greasy". Neither are as hideous as Adan Driver, with his Cro-Magnon Majorie Taylor Greene face!
