What is this???
"hough she has been media trained and then royal-media trained and sometimes converses like she has a tiny Bachelor producer in her brain directing what she says (at one point in our conversation, instead of answering a question, she will suggest how I might transcribe the noises she’s making: “She’s making these guttural sounds, and I can’t quite articulate what it is she’s feeling in that moment because she has no word for it; she’s just moaning”), at this stage, post-royal, there’s no need for her to hold back. She’s flinging open the proverbial doors to her life; as any millennial"

Guys, I think it's possible that the writer has achieved British-level snark which is the pinnacle of subtlety
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 29, 2022 2:19 PM |
This is deliciously written, full of shade but deniability, so no one can play victim. The Mandela line alone is great, but the little things - like the parents at the school gate doing a double-take, making clear she’s not a regular presence; the office chairs displayed like two thrones - are just perfect.
I’ve been waiting for Harry and Meghan to really TRY to make a strategic play instead of flailing around so much. They are such self-involved nuts that it’s going to be fun. And here they go…
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 29, 2022 2:20 PM |
The writer knew she was being love-bombed to sing Meghan's praises. She knew the set-up was completely phony but she wanted to be fair and settled for rehashing the past with some scene-setting and nothing quotes. Any sane person who was not a moron would have been uncomfortable as hell in that setting.
Her good friend is Victoria Jackson. Very fitting that she should have her greatest affinity with a makeup artist.

by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 29, 2022 2:22 PM |
Another point of news here is that they absolutely are making a personal documentary, with Liz Garbus, who made the Golden State Killer miniseries.
I don’t think the silence around Harry’s book is due to delay. They have been holding their fire to try for a more strategic comeback rollout, likely starting with this piece and the release of Archetypes. They must have realized they fumbled the bag with Megxit.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 29, 2022 2:25 PM |
She’s gotten filler in her cheeks and under/around her eyes, which is really too bad. Her cheeks were very cute and made her look young, and now she’s prematurely aged.

"Meghan asserts that what they were asking for wasn’t “reinventing the wheel” and lists a handful of princes and princesses and dukes who have the very arrangement they wanted. “That, for whatever reason, is not something that we were allowed to do, even though several other members of the family do that exact thing.”
Why do you think that is? I ask.
“Why do you think that is?” she says right back with a side-eye that suggests I should understand without having to be told."
Then a long paragraph listing American, biracial, Diana, ambition, yadda yadda, and finally:
"Well, I can’t put words in your mouth, I say instead.
And then a pause as she looks down and inspects her hands; The Bachelor producer in her head deliberates how much should be said. “I don’t know,” she says, casting a knowing gaze out into the middle distance."
The next photo is Megs staring off into the middle distance.

More gold:
'I wonder if, given all she’s put behind her now, she thinks there is room for forgiveness between her and her royal in-laws and her own family.
“I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive,” she says wisely. “But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything,” she says, her voice full of meaning. And then she is silent. She breathes in and smiles and breathes out and says, “I have a lot to say until I don’t. Do you like that? Sometimes, as they say, the silent part is still part of the song.”
And then, quickly and decisively, as if it were my idea, the conversation ends. Meghan sets a harvest basket in my arms: a cornucopia of fruit and vegetables from their garden and a jar of jam from the Lili Bunny Garden + Larder (she had the labels made on Etsy). She smiles and waves as I make my way out the door, wondering if somehow I’d missed everything she was trying to say.'
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 29, 2022 3:27 PM |
^ shadiest, best, and most skillful part of the piece. Meghan has to rely on a tease because she knows that’s what keeps people tuning in, “What does she know, and what will she say?” Once she gives up the goods, she loses her audience.

by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 29, 2022 3:44 PM |
The more interviews she does, the more unhinged she seems.
Rather than leaving the Royal Family and having a quiet enjoyable life with Harry, she seems to have a need to constantly put herself in the spotlight with "but I'm the innocent one, the Royal Family were meanies!" type interviews.
It's like she thinks not enough people are convinced, so she has to say it again.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 29, 2022 3:44 PM |
[quote]When I ask about it, Meghan doesn’t stay in her sadness for long; instead, she uses it to discuss how toxic tabloid culture has torn two families apart. “Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process.’ It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision.”
So that could suggest his book will be a barn burner? If he views Charles as lost, what does he have to lose?

She doesn't seem unhinged. She seems like every other celebrity who isn't as smart as they think they are, and who believes every laudatory thing people have said about them, without any understanding that quite a bit of it is hyperbole. This all reminds me of GOOP in the years before she worked on her image and dialed back the cringe. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Meghan was deliberately impersonating Gwyneth.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 29, 2022 4:35 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 29, 2022 4:48 PM |
Every word she spoke was carefully/deliberately scripted. She made sure we knew:
1. Harry’s relationship with Charles is over. 2. They’ve permanently moved out of Frogmore. 3. She has much more to reveal and is preparing to do so.
It get have been so quiet recently. I thought they were finally doing the smart thing and pivoting from oversharing to focusing on their PR- dictated charity work. Happily, I was wrong. This article merrily opens a new chapter of self destruction and I’m here for it!

I thought they were going to visit the queen at Balmoral. Guess not!
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 29, 2022 5:41 PM |
This is why one doesn't doubt the Queen. The royal strategy has been correct since the Oprah interview: Say very little and be gracious in public. Meanwhile, give H&M enough rope and they will eventually hang themselves.
R67 Yes Meghan's words were very deliberate (as always) but the interview itself exposes her as a being so far up her own ass it's pure comedy. She may have also opened herself up to a legal challenge too, claiming that tabloids like the Daily Mail referred to Archie by the N-Word which NEVER happened.
BTW Russell Myers is still tweeting about this interview and his tweets are hysterical. It's funny because he's been a soft-supporter of Harry for a while.
Frankly, if you still believe Meghan is a truthful, kind person...I've got some snake oil I want to sell you.

The article is snark snark snark. The journalist is only sincere when she mentions Meghan's "declining mental health" (can't snark about suicidal ideation), when she mentions the online hate MM receives and whether she'll provide more fodder (gives her some plausible deniability, I guess) and when describing the kids. I wonder if Meghan's fans or the duchess herself will realize how poorly she comes off.
What does this portend?: "The piece of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see, is our love story." A Valentine's Day picture poem? A Hallmark movie? "Being Meghan and Harry" with them canoodling barefoot in their Nancy-Meyers kitchen making Archie car quesadillas and beatboxing for Lili?

[QUOTE]Istammer out an apology.
[QUOTE]"I feel it. It’s good. I’m, like, so excited to talk.”
Huh? Imagine how awkward the interviewer must have felt! I wonder if that was Meghan's intention to throw the interviewer off her game when the questions got too "hot" for her. Or is she deluded into thinking that this is an effective love bombing tactic? What a weird thing to say to a total stranger. He'll, it's weird to say to friends or lovers.
And about the Royal Rota calling her the N word. Is she saying they called her the N word in print or that it was yelled out to her by the press that followed her on engagements? The former is easily disprovable, the latter -- damn, the RR can deny it, but it's not disproveable.

At first, they’d resisted going to visit. “We didn’t have jobs, so we just were not going to come and see this house. It wasn’t possible. It’s like when I was younger and you’re window shopping — it’s like, I don’t want to go and look at all the things that I can’t afford. That doesn’t feel good.” How utterly humbled we all are when confronted with a depressingly aspirational Zillow hunt.

“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?” she asks, still ruffled.
r104. She says they called her kids that. They were never around her kids so I guess that would imply in print, which never happened.

R99, he also popped into her "40x40" video last year, juggling or something in the background outside, seen through a window.
I think she just wanted to imply strongly that the media called her child the N-word, but the actual basis may have been commenters online. It serves her purpose to hold the media responsible. I still don't believe anyone used that word, though.

by Anonymous | reply 110 | August 29, 2022 8:02 PM |
Her N-word comment is poorly worded (shocking) and is going to get her into trouble - what she meant, I think, is she didn’t like the idea of handing the Royal Rota photographs of her children so they’d print them in tabloids which were gobbled up by the Meghan-hating public (the n-word users), before she even posted them to the Insta grid for her lovely followers.
As someone above said, this is so much about CONTROL - the same thing Harry is manic about (although in his case it’s for better reason). She is trying to so hard to tell and show everyone how to think of her - she hasn’t yet grasped this isn’t possible for anyone, let alone a celebrity.
She’s delusional, but to compare her to Trump is ridiculous. There’s a bunch of despots out there in the world, as ever, and she hasn’t come close to someone like Trump, let alone Putin.
by Anonymous | reply 111 | August 29, 2022 8:02 PM |
I'm sure there were people on Twitter who were racist and may have used the N word, any criticism here is labeled racist and her irrational defenders (who I think are probably white) use that word with abandon and project it's use onto her critics.
The issue is merely her being disliked for the content of her character, once it was shown. And she's pissed because she figured she just needed the spotlight to shine, and she'd be beloved. But she wasn't. Womp womp.

Yeah, similar personalities: Trump and Markle. She - much to her dismay - does not/did not have the platform of Trump.
Although she did manage to grift millions via wardrobe, tours and wedding from the British taxpayers and conned the Canadians out of a pretty penny for “protection”. She and her husband are currently attempting to grift IPP status so that she will have other countries pay for her protection and provide diplomatic-like immunity.
So while she’s nowhere near the level of destruction Trump has wrought, let us not pretend that she’s not cost taxpayers a pretty penny for her luxurious, over-the-top, flaunt-in-your-face lifestyle.

Do you mean online? Because people on here used the n-word, so it's not like it hasn't happened online. The entire quote sounds to me like she's saying both the public and the media include people who use the slur about her and her kids, but she's always imprecise with her words, so I can't be sure. I know people say her statements are all rehearsed but they don't seem that way to me, they always need to be parsed and contextualized and even then you're having to guess what she meant.

Really talented manipulators know how to recognize and stay away from, or at least avoid getting trapped by, other manipulators. They keep their spin and scheming to people who aren’t as skilled as they are. Meghan keeps trying to play people who are very good at the same game, like the Queen or any journalist at this level who writes celebrity profiles - they are SHARKS. That’s why she keeps running into buzzsaws in her plans. Her restarting an Instagram is a good idea, because it’s much easier to spin your own message that way than to filter it through a national magazine. Even Kate fell for that trap with the Tatler thing - And I doubt she ever will again.

She looks unhinged in the cover shot (where someone better with Photoshop than me should insert the missing “N”).
In the rest of them she reminds me of Marcia and Jan in The Brady Bunch Movie: “we’re teen fashion models!” - before striking really bad sixties model poses.

Oh boy. So much to say. But most has been said.
I wanted to respond regarding eating in the car, I think it was R54 & R53.
In the piece, they talked about arkie’s day at school. And he did not eat his sandwich. And it seemed like a common thing, just the way it was worded.
I have taught preschool for 10 years in a bougie, snooty, wealthy town in NJ (where djt’s golf course is.)
The. parents are either working long & commuting far (pre-Covid,) or are rich SAH moms, (sorry but there were no Mr. moms in our school,) and they don’t work but have to keep up with their social calendars, gym time, salon time, book club prep, redoing the house “general contracting” and interior designing, etc., so Susie & Johnny go to preschool.
They are ALWAYS trying to overcompensate for not spending any time w/ little suzie & johnny. If S/J do not eat their sandwich at lunch, no worries!!! because Helicopter Mommy or Disney Daddy will swoop in & give little S/J food on the ride home. I mean little S/J could literally, like DIE ! in the 15 minutes it takes to get home!!!
Fuk the kid’s meal schedule, fuk the nanny’s meal schedule, fuk the teachers/aides who probably get nasty emails every night asking “Why didn’t Arkie (or fill in the blank) eat his lunch?”
It’s all about making the absent/neglectful see you next tuesday parent (MoM, Meghan of Montecito) feel better and superior.
May I add that I adore ADORE the writer of the piece. I am very curious to see what rolls out over the next few days. No way are the stans going to stay quiet. They are going to dig up every thing this writer every said & did. I hope she is prepared. She seems tough, but those stans are ruthless.
And, regarding Neanderthal eyebrows, I haven’t heard of the trend yet, but I will keep eyes & ears open.
MoM and Scooby Poop are actually morphing into a blend of each other, it’s so weird. He has very Neanderthal eyebrows, so…

This story about “Archie’s Nursery Fire” cracked me up. I swear the “source” is Omid! It sounds so made up after the fact.
Anyway, my landlord is a jerk, long story. She had us using a space. heater to prevent a pipe from freezing. She said it had to stay on 24/7.
Never told us we have no ground wires in the apartment. Came home one day from work, and the whole side of it was melted.
I didn’t see fire residue or damage, or smell any lingering smoke. The smoke/fire alarm didn’t alert anyone, if it actually even went off.
So, I still don’t believe there was a fire .
Sorry, not sorry.
This “source” is so sus.

Giving gifts to the journalist interviewing her is just creepy and manipulative. She did the same thing to the guy in Canada, the one whose stutter she commented on.
She supposedly gave Kate a knife as a gift.
I think anyone who has had to interact with her needs to immediately smudge themselves and cleanse the space she occupied with sage and palo santo to remove all the bad energy

Honestly while I was reading this interview, I had to remind myself several times that this wasn't satire. The woman is clearly so high on herself she probably believes her farts are an aphrodisiac.
The real reason I hate Meghan though is that she's made feel sorry for the royal family, particularly Prince Charles. She is clearly the in-law from hell. Most of have had one of those in our lives, the spouse of a family member (sibling, cousin, aunt/uncle) that we just loath.
The question I am left with here is who the fuck is advising Harry & Meghan? I mean I know when they were working royals they were notorious for not taking advice, but jesus they must be surrounded by yes people. And either Meghan is the best lay on the planet, or Harry is beyond stupid like boarding on mentally damaged.

from the Burning of Atlanta story:
While they do not remember there actually being a fire, the heater was certainly smoking, and was unplugged and dealt with.
However, a source close to the family who spoke to The Citizen on the condition of anonymity has now confirmed that there was a fire at the official residence where the family was staying.
“The heater burnt. The house didn’t burn, the rooms didn’t burn. I didn’t see the fire itself, but I saw the heater when it came out of the room. The plastic was severely melted.”

She really needs a security detail to pick the kid of from (a presumably) ritzy school in a tony millionaire neighborhood? Harry needs a security detail to go around the block on his bike? They must be spending a fortune on security they don't need, simply because they want to feel important. Even William and Kate go out without body guards to do simple errands.

“One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,” she coos. “See how they’re connected at the bottom? He goes, ‘My love, it’s us.’ And now every day when Archie goes by us, he says, ‘Hi, Momma. Hi, Papa.’ ”

The Spectator, Steerpike:
Meghan’s Mandela moment
It’s been a long walk to freedom
29 August 2022, 6:15am
"It seems that the last two years of interviews, podcasts and media briefings actually count as Meghan keeping shtum. Towards the end of a 6,500-word interview with the Cut, which covers the duchess’s views on the monarchy, the British press and racism, she says that she ‘never had to sign anything that restricts her from talking,’ adding ‘I can talk about my whole experience and make a choice not to’. At this point, Mr S doesn’t know whether this is an attempt at satire or if Meghan genuinely believes her ‘truth’.
The interview, titled ‘Meghan of Montecito’, comes less than a week after her Archetypes podcast with Serena Williams (in which listeners might have hoped that she could have spoken a little less). Maybe Meghan decided that an hour of uninterrupted self-endorsement wasn’t enough, dedicating at least a day to the feature-length interview and photoshoot. At one point, she claimed that during a visit to the Lion King premiere in London, a cast member from South Africa pulled her aside: ‘He looked at me, and he’s just like light [sic?]. He said, “I just need you to know: When you married into this family, we rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison”.’ Seems legit.
Another bizarre section sees homeless people used as a learning experience for Meghan’s son Archie. They take the interviewer for a drive (not at all pre-meditated, Mr S is sure) where Meghan then ‘reaches into the trunk and produces a brand-new black backpack and hands it to her security detail to give to an unhoused man on the corner.’ Meghan claims that they are ‘teaching Archie that some people live in big houses, some in small, and that some are in between homes. They made kits to pass out with water and peanut-butter crackers and granola bars.’ Steerpike wonders if Meghan couldn’t have instead offered one of her nine bedrooms from her Montecito estate.
And what's Harry been up to? According to the interview, not much. He's spent a fair amount of his time doing DIY around their home as well as ‘fixing sprinklers’ for their LA neighbours. The interviewer described the prince as ‘exasperated’ when talking about ‘fixing pipes’ in their Montecito mansion. Perhaps it’s another learning experience for Archie: some people are born princes but end up as glorified handymen."
by Anonymous | reply 246 | August 30, 2022 8:00 AM |

She's threatening them, and not very subtly, either:
"In the latest interview, Meghan hinted she had more to say about her life in the Royal Family, but was 'still healing'.
She said: 'It's interesting, I've never had to sign anything that restricts me from talking... I can talk about my whole experience and make a choice not to.' Buckingham Palace declined to comment."
I can only presume that she wants money in order not to tell tales (most of which will be made up, natch) about them and this is her way of letting them know.

I've read many comments about this article comparing MM to Gwyneth Paltrow. While I agree that GP is insufferable, she also has a very healthy sense of humour about herself and often pokes fun at herself. MM would NEVER EVER make fun of herself.
Also, MM is a striver, a grifter, always reaching, always trying to be something she is not. GP was born into privilege and in true Queen Bee style believes she belongs right where she was placed: top of the heap. There's no reaching, grifting or pretending happening. GP preaches and pontificates, but she is just being herself rather than trying to be someone else.
I don't think a comparison between the two is accurate at all.

[quote]I'm curious what creates a human being like this—-they way she vastly overestimates herself, her inability to acknowledge any weakness or mistake, and her ingratitude for anything that is done for her. Clearly, her father spoiled her relentlessly. Were all narcissists spoiled children? Do most spoiled children become narcissists?
I'm not an expert regarding the etiology of personality disorders but from my own experience the people whom I have known who had the most noxious narcissistic traits were a product of emotional abuse and neglect at the hands of their parents, who were more concerned about appearances than their child's emotional wellbeing. The child takes this on board and learns to adopt a facade to hide their pain and distress. This is the brittle grandiose false self that narcissists carry with them into adulthood, and defending it is their fulltime occupation.

Doria repeated her own upbringing and took off when Megs was 2? 3?, leaving her care to Tom. Tom worked long hours at the studio and either took her with him when he went to work or parked her at school friends/caregivers. Little/no contact with either Doria's or Tom's family, which you will not be surprised to learn, with whom they were estranged. Tom spoiled her in lieu of parenting. Doria only showed up when it was in her interest. Megs honed her manipulation skills on "guilty" Tom. She learned her grifting skills by example from Doria.

Snoop .Dogg, as smooth as you imagine and smelled so nice
Macklemore, God was he good looking! And painfully shy, but he came back over to talk to me after I decided to give him some space (it was in a hat store.)
Mike Dirnt, bassist from Green Day - bumped into him on the street as my friend & I were walking to Roseland for a show. He was going to the same show and said, May I walk you ladies to the door?
Gerard Way, lead singer of My Chemical Romance, saw him buying pizza as we were also eating pizza after watching him at Webster Hall. A SWEETHEART.
The Police: Sting & Andy were SO NICE, Stewart was a grade-A A$$hole (which made me so sad)
Met multiple times in NJ at public places, and what a prince - Phil Rizzuto
Every one of these people has a higher profile, most likely have very high security risks, and more fans than she or Aitch will ever have.

The United States may be more psychologically open and socially progressive than the fading empire, but the more the pair talk about what they suffered in England, the more it seems that’s all Americans want to hear from them. In truth, the only way for the Sussexes to build a truly new life, and have a wider impact on the causes they care about, is to stop making themselves the center of the story.'
CORRIERE DELLA SERA (ITALY) : 'The photos show Meghan posing like a real diva: far from the real style (and life) from which she herself declared she wanted to detach herself. Meghan Markle's style follows that of her sister-in-law Kate Middleton in the series of shots taken by Paolo Roversi for the 40th birthday of the Duchess of Cambridge.'

R275, they met pre-Harry at a DirectTV promotion. There is photographic evidence. That said, in another thread, the Serena-Markle connection was discussed. They share similarities. Although Serena is a tennis darling she is difficult and bullies people. Behind closed doors she is a milder version of Markle. Certainly not unhinged, but problematic. She also shills for a variety of things (medications, BetterUp, etc.), despite her vast wealth. So the Markle-Serena connection is not surprising. How deep and “authentic” their relationship is, remains to be seen. Speaks volumes of them both.

R274 I find it so sad, and deeply disturbing that Mandiba’s grandson has been slandered and harassed by the squad. Ever since he truthfully gave a reasoned explanation for his opinion that PH was not qualified to be the speaker at the UN on International Nelson Mandela Day, they have been making stuff up, calling HIM racist, et al.
The squad is venal, sick, depraved. They will stop at no one and nothing.
I will use my favorite line from a favorite song by my favorite band here. Just have to do a little tweaking. This is about the stans & how they will idolize the lowest common denominator, and throw someone like Nelson Mandela’s grandson out with the trash.
“If Adolf Hitler was a Squaddie today. they’d send a limousine anyway.” (they being the squad)
Did no one learn, at its very basic level, (as played out by Ms. Swift,) that the term squad is devoid of any sane human emotion or logic as exists in an actual, personal & intimate relationship? And even worse, that it is an indication of sick, cult-like behavior?
Death Squad anyone?

I don't mean fellow Sunshine Sachs clients such as Ellen. Or Oprah with whom she and Doria have the Agape Spiritual Center connection, but other couples or parents or women who lunch?
It doesn't appear so and perhaps the rumor of the neighbor finding the housekeeper or some household staff member crying on the street is true. No Montecito friends may also confirm the rumor that she acts "like a cat in heat" around the wealthy husbands in the neighborhood.

Later in her podcast, Meghan admitted that she initially thought Mariah was criticising her by calling her a diva, only to learn that she meant it as a compliment.
'My fangirling was tempered today,' said Meghan. 'I kind of think she could tell. But that aside, it was all going swimmingly, really well, until that moment happened, which I don't know about you, but it stopped me in my tracks. When she called me a diva.
'You couldn't see me, obviously, but I started to sweat a little bit and started squirming in my chair in this quiet revolt, like "wait, no, what, how could you? That's not true, why would you say that?"
'My mind was genuinely just spinning with what nonsense she must have read or clicked on to make her say that, and I just kept thinking in that moment was my girl crush coming to a quick demise? Does she actually not see me?
'So, she must have felt my nervous laughter, and you would've all heard it too, and she jumped straight in to make sure I was crystal clear when she said diva, she was talking about the way that I dress, the posture, the clothing, the quote, unquote fabulousness, as she sees it.
'She meant diva as a compliment, but I heard it as a dig, I heard it as the word diva as I think of it, but in that moment as she explained to me, she meant it as chic, as aspirational, and how one very charged word can mean something different for each of us, it's mind-blowing to me.'
Meghan continued: 'It actually made me realise, and in these episodes as I've opened the door for conversations surrounding archetypes that try to hold us back, what I hadn't considered is that for some, reclaiming the words is what they feel will propel us forward.'

Is this Victoria Jackson the same whackadoodle who used to be on Saturday Night Live? The right wing "Christian" Trump supporter?
r293 - I wondered if Meghan's derogatory use of the term "housing unit" and the tale of the self-combusting space heater were retaliation not just for Mandela's grandson's comment that Harry was not an appropriate choice for a U.N. keynote speech, but for her omission as a speaker. Supposedly, this was one of the reasons for the couple's fight beforehand. That's another NPD quality -- striking back in retaliation. Remember how that ridiculous sow and likely future governor of Arkansas (and alleged Christian) Sarah Huckabee Sanders, excused and justified Trump's crazy rages and attacks on others? "When Trump gets hit, he hits back harder."

by Anonymous | reply 322 | August 30, 2022 6:10 PM |
She is trying to model herself on Angelina Jolie, trying to present herself as a movie star/philanthropist. Problem is she never had Jolie's acting career, she was a featured player on a cable soap. Interestingly, Jolie is a BPD and Markle seems to be too. BPDs are vindictive as hell. Just like Jolie turned against Pitt, Markle will turn against Harry.
One thing that makes zero sense: she and Harry are trying to present themselves as champions of charities while simultaneously trying to make bank off those charities. Noted philanthropists are filthy rich and shower their millions on deserving charities. Markle and Harry don't. They're trying to create some kind of reality TV/influencer hybrid through their publicists. That isn't really a profession outside the royal family. How odd.

The lack of self awareness makes her look hypocritical and not even realize it. She’s a feminist on one hand, but her only real claim to fame in marrying a prince. She wanted to be a part time Royal, complete with all the protection, presumably high profile gigs on the tax payer’s dime. Yet, she wanted to do endeavors where they would make their own money. Royal family is racist, yet she names her child after the Queen. She wants privacy, but she’s trying her hardest to get any publicity she can. She is the Duchess of Sussex, yet wanted to live in America. There are a lot of examples of how ludicrous the whole thing is.
She does remind me of Jolie and Harry will get the Pitt treatment eventually. Meghan actually seems worse than Jolie. Jolie hides a lot of her vindictive craziness when out in front of the cameras. Meghan never stops complaining and victimizing herself.

From The Cut: I went to Northwestern with Meghan, and lived next door to one of Archie’s godmothers, so we were around each other a lot. Granted, this is 20 years ago, so take what I have to say with that in mind. None of us who knew Meghan back in the day are surprised with interviews we now read. To give her credit, she has always worked her ass off, and knew what personal branding was long before it was a thing. She’s really bright in that regard. But good Lord she’s boring unless you want to talk about her. She knew she was beautiful, she knew she had connections. A lot of us don’t get the “poor little me” routine because fame was an understood goal. You made it, Meghan. Now find a new topic.

Comment from The Cut:
“Markle is attacking an institution that welcomed her. They threw her a wedding costing many many millions of taxpayer dollars. They gave her homes, luxury autos, access to the crown jewels a million dollar designer wardrobe, nearly unlimited luxury travel. They gave her access to the brightest minds on planet earth. They gave her the important work she said she wanted...but didn't. In return she managed 72 royal engagements only. She damaged, perhaps irreparably, the relationship between 2 brothers, insulted the danged Queen publicly, and tried to trash a thousand year old institution.”
Reading this summary I have to say Megan has more than earned her derision. She has split a family —though Harry is mostly responsible for it—but it’s sad.

So here's the thing, Meghan is a narcissist and as such, she sees the whole world as revolving around her. The thing that gets under a narcissist's skin more than anything is ignoring them which is what the royal family is doing to her. Yes, she talks about the royals in part because it gets her money but mostly she cannot stand to be ignored. So she's going to keep hurling more and more accusations at them until she feels she's gotten a response. The "problem" for Meghan is that the royals have silence bred into them. The Queen and her advisors were 100% correct in not taking the bait after the Oprah interview. I hope as the Queen is clearly ailing, Charles and William don't take the bait. The best plan is to sit back and just get on with life. Yes, Meghan will throw more dirt but each time she opens her mouth, she becomes less and less likeable and less and less believable.
She'll never stop being bitter but eventually she'll leave Harry cold in the dirt and move on.

"Aides are asked to agree to confidentiality policies, promising to preserve the privacy of the Royal family and institution both while they are there and after they leave.
Most also choose a path of discretion out of loyalty to the members of the Royal family they serve, with negative revelations from ex-staff very rare. Those said to have been victims of bullying by the Duchess - allegations she denies - have never gone on the record to talk about their experiences, with those who witnessed many of the incidents mentioned in the press also keeping quiet.
But, The Telegraph has learned, those policies can be overruled for good reason, in line with employment law about whistleblowing.
UK law states that whistleblowers must act in the public interest, but are protected while raising concerns about significant incidents occurring in the past."
So is the basis of the public interest met through describing the experience of working for this critic of the monarchy?

That Telegraph article is one of the best I've read; it's frank but not jeering, has nuance, displays polls, and most of all, points up what so many of us have noted over the last two years: their leap to burn bridges before they knew what they could do in America was not only presumptuous, it was foolish. Now, they can't go back even if they wanted to.
I think they were badly advised by sycophants who told the Sussexes what they wanted to hear. In doing so, the American counterparts of those "courtiers" enabled the Sussexes to ignore the handwriting on the wall that good PR people would have insisted be considered: the polls on both sides of the Pond (including for the Cambridges); the failure of her book; the lack of real enthusiasm for their quasi-royal appearances; the booing at the Platinum Jubilee; the bored faces in the half-empty room at the UN; and, now, the universal jeering at the podcasts and the interview in The Cut.
The Williams podcast sank quickly, and episode by episode, Meghan didn't really "dethrone" Rogan. He didn't really have anything out that day. It's now down to #24. Those things are meaningless unless they tell the contractor that real money is being made.
One reason that the Sussexes are doubling down on their mistaken course is money, which the Telegraph article brings out. They have huge expenses, but in order to keep the money flowing in, they have to keep returning to the only brand the rest of the world is really interested in: their royal brand. As they burned any bridges back to becoming again part of the BRF fabric, they're forced to keep tilting at the Wind[sor]mill.
It's a bad look, but it is, in all honesty, the only sellable look they've got. No one cares about his polo games, no one cares about his speech to the UN, his suit against the Home Office is another Fuck You to a place he might have been able to negotiate a return to . . .
I think they believed that just leaving because they wanted to, but on cheery God Bless terms wasn't possible, they'd look like shirkers, so they cooked up the Woe Are We Victims Of The Windsors And The UK Media! cover. It probably looked like a good strategy at the time, with lots of headlines.
But over the longer term, it's serving them badly because they can't keep it up much longer, it's already played out even in America, never mind Britain, and they've been unable to move beyond it. Now, it's what they have to sell, and they need money, lots of it.
Hence the vicious backstabbing, astonishing lies, and veiled threats - and they just look sillier and lamer and more desperate with each throw of the malign dice.
It is truly fascinating. The Telegraph article is the best on the two that I've read yet because it ignores all the narcissism, jeering, partisanship, indignation - it simply drills down into what is the Sussex situation.

And of course, the destruction of familial relationships and giving a middle finger to all of the untold privileges of being a royal—her impulsivity and pathological self-serving behaviors show a cognitive immaturity that takes your breath away. She really is THAT stupid and THAT much of a cunt.

It is no coincidence that Megs behavior reminds people of Angelina Jolie. Jolie is one of her idols/role models, who she emulates.
From Tom Bower, Revenge, Page 62:
[quote] Uncertain how long her income from Suits would last and unusually careful with money, Meghan had registered a slew of websites – Posh Beauty, Spoon Me Fork Me, Lalitots and Foodiepup – to leverage her celebrity. The idea was not original. Meghan had observed Hollywood’s royalty – including Angelina Jolie and Emma Watson, famous for her role in the Harry Potter film series – become profitable Influencers.
Ibid, Page 74:
[quote] Meghan had decided that her long-term future was not with Cory. She had set her sights higher. New York, she decided, was the key to her ambition. She wanted to emulate her idols, Angelina Jolie and Emma Watson.

After that ridiculous vomiting in The Cut, the woman comes across as nonsensical... she's aping that world of self-actualization and social justice and compassion babble but she isn't her dead mother-in-law. Whatever her flaws, her dead mother-in-law felt it. It was - authentic. This one is just playing dress up. Whoever coined Meagain back in the day nailed it. Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me. You can't deny her ambition but there's no intellect to it - it's just climb, climb, climb. Eventually, you actually have to be going somewhere. (Which in her case, ironically and paradoxically, appears to be destination boring... she is almost single handedly depriving herself of what she wants most - influential fame.) She won't understand it but she's plainly tapped out the royal family grievance theme. It is exhausted. Nobody wants to hear it. Her autobiography will only backfire. Would anyone other than her dwindling lost causes and going nowheres even believe a word of it, whatever she claims?
So please, divine forces or plain old luck, let her boxes of Lilibiscuits and Sussoups sell... sell to high heaven... make her her money, buy her her jet, get her more houses, whatever she wants, so long as she stops fucking talking smack about the monarchy and learns to live with marginalization rooted in tedium.

That business about the diary is hilarious, she is such a piece of work. "Oh my, what have we here...why, it's my journal! And look what I wrote in it, wow, my goodness!"
Does Harry ever have moments of awful clarity, where he wonders what the hell happened?
by Anonymous | reply 429 | August 31, 2022 1:34 PM |
Re the diary -
The Daily Beast put it best when they said Meghan’s value to the public is as a source of “industrial-grade” royal family gossip. She doesn’t need information of historical significance—people will want to read her diary to learn the more mundane things: does William really like his father? Does Kate put on airs? Is Andrew a pariah inside the family? Meghan is a “regular” American who got intimate access to these historical figures. She is the Andrew Morton figure, not Diana, or the Linda Tripp, not Monica - she was there, that’s all.
But this is exactly what bothers Meghan. She wants to be the person of historical significance, not the third-party source of information about other people. And that’s putting aside that she won’t even be viewed as a trustworthy, unbiased source, which reduces the importance of the journal even further. Harry’s book will be far more significant (even if even more biased, as any autobiography is).
Meghan does have some self-awareness though, or she wouldn’t be teasing the diary at all. She knows why people pay attention to her, and she knows she’s no Nelson Mandela (she’s a well-educated woman!). But she takes a “fake it til you make it” approach and she has a lot more perseverance and game face in that than most. She hasn’t given up the game yet.

R430 Shrewd observation. Of course, she's liberally assisted in this every time with a media using the words "bombshell". But when aired, the bombshells almost always turn out to be mostly unintentionally silly pinpricks, with exception of the racial shit. which most of the British population don't believe, if YouGov's poll is any evidence. And, in throwing the darts/pinpricks/bombshells, the two always come out looking worse than the people they are trying to damage.
Really - what could Meghan's "diary" reveal - kinky sex between the Cambridges? The Queen farts? William made a pass at Meghan?
Except for the farting, stuff like the other two would guarantee a defamation lawsuit. And anything besides stuff like those two would likely damage Meghan herself, again, than the BRF.
But the media, bless its little heart, keeps portraying the BRF as terrified, braced for more bombshell revelations, etc., etc., when in fact the BRF are just going about their usual business, and keeping the lawyers apprised of events until, at last, one day, Meghan is served with defamation papers.

One thing Harry said to the fake Greta Thunberg really shocked me; he said that fundraising for charity was a really great way to make money. I can't believe no one was appalled by that.
One bombshell MM could reveal is examples showing the BRF despises and ridicules the public. That would be hard to overcome. One thing is for sure...the BRF are just like everyone else, except far richer and more entitled, so you can imagine they have some very definite opinions.
But it was reported that MM herself said she disliked meeting ordinary members of the public, as opposed to high-ranking or famous people, but accepted that it was part of the job.

Meghan will keep picking at the scab that is the BRF. She got a response, and thinks she won, when the royals announced they would do an internal audit of HR practices.
When she doesn’t get a response from them, she’ll keep turning up the heat. “William fingered my furbelow!” I have no doubt a lawsuit is what she is looking for and unfortunately the BRF will pay for it because Harry’s money will eventually run out.

When this: "According to writer Alison P. Davies, Meghan said: 'Harry said to me, 'I lost my dad in this process'. It doesn't have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that's his decision.'
becomes this: Meghan's unofficial mouthpiece Omid Scobie DENIES she said Harry had 'lost' Charles after Megxit - insisting the Duchess actually meant she had lost HER OWN father in backtrack just hours after bombshell article was published
the argument could be made you're not trying to express your thoughts, you're trying to deliver your messages... and ill-equipped to achieve it. Then again, she wasn't really a lead actress, was she?

All they have is confession. And they will soon exhaust that we’ll of $$$. His book. Her book. The reality show (which will be so overly controlled by M that it will be the blandest hagiography not even interesting enough to hate-watch).
Given their ultra expensive lifestyle and dwindling stable of friends willing to pay their tab, the $$ from the confessionals will not go far.
They will divorce, which will send Harry scrambling back to the RF, and Meghan will write another book.
She will not be Diana post divorce. And she’s much smarter than Fergie so she’ll escape that sad fate. I suspect she’ll land on her feet in a greatly diminished form—a minor social influencer who can still trade on her name for third-tier brands.
She’ll have no A list friends—they’ve already jumped ship. But she’ll get by and she’ll have two powerful bargaining chips—her children.

The "losing one's father" quotation actually only makes sense to me if it's about Meghan and her father. It's just that the writer miscommunicated (punctuationally, so to speak) what MM meant as "Harry said to me that I lost my dad" as "Harry said to me, 'I lost my dad.'" Otherwise, what does "It doesn't have to be the same for them as it was for me" mean?

That "putrid rag" is far less offensive than the vicious lies Meghan Markle spews out as her fancy takes her.
Someone needs to examine her priorities around a free press.
The DM owes it to the public to make sure shit like Meghan's lies are called out.
DM reporting it doesn't make it untrue. CNN is telling more lies to the public about the Sussexes than the DM.
Meanwhile, this shit getting real. The South Africa Mandela lies, the slander of the royal Rota reporters, the shade between the lines of the CUT interview, the terrible reviews of the podcasts . . .
The stuff that was supposed to redeem her image and out her on top is getting the worst PR she's had since Uvalde.
And anyone who thinks that little "leak" about those NDAs not being as watertight as all that in a matter of the national interest should think again.
by Anonymous | reply 500 | August 31, 2022 11:09 PM |
The NDA story was probably a briefing by the palace to send a message right back to Castillo Prefabricado.

^CNN again demonstrating that it is ignoring the news about Meghan's lies that are being called out by Mandela's own relatives, the horrible reviews, her veiled threats to Britain's Head of State, and cherry-picking small bits that it can present in a wholly positive ligh . . .
Because her mother is black, and any famous person with identifiable nonwhite DNA is being held by CNN to a lower standard of accountability for personal actions.
by Anonymous | reply 502 | August 31, 2022 11:19 PM |
At this point, she can't do right for doing wrong. Everything she does is fodder for ridicule and condemnation, though she does make it easy. And meanwhile, they have to press on, because they need money. I wouldn't know what to advise them. Slinking back to the BRF is probably not an option.
by Anonymous | reply 503 | August 31, 2022 11:20 PM |
Maybe her strategy was to threaten a memoir in exchange for lucrative NDA agreement in (perhaps even the not too distant) future?
Maybe their strategy is to wait it out and bring him back into the fold, even at a distance, once they divorce. Hell, ship him off to Africa to conserve wildlife, so long as he's freed of that prattling jackass he married. I don't deny Harry's talked crap about his family and had or concocted a lot of issues with his upbringing and given the war of the Wales and then Diana's death, he was in a frenzy and ripe for the picking. But is it fair to say he's a pillow, too... bearing the impression of the last person who came in contact with him?
They're going to have to support him. He's going to the cleaners and apparently no earthly use otherwise. So a nice period of saving elephants might solve the problem once the dastardly duo finally part company.
Does anybody think this shit show can last?
I used to think how I hoped people wouldn't mar the Queen's funeral by booing them in public. Now I hope they let rip. Skunks, the pair of them.

CNN, like all networks, needs content. PR companies provide content. When a network needs 'filler' content, a snippet of 'dead-air' to be filled, I'm guessing that they turn to the fluff pieces to fill 30 seconds, or whatever. Networks probably contract to receive content from PR distribution companies. I've noticed that the same on the same day that a Harkle puff-piece is on CNN, it is played here in Canada, the very same pictures, the very same puff piece, the very same day, despite there being no affiliation between the networks. Which makes me think that the networks have contracts with the PR companies, and they have to fill a certain quota?

She's probably keeping a close eye on how the Pitt Jolie divorce mess and property separation unfolds, taking notes for future reference, but unfortunately she'll see things only from Angelina's victim perspective and fail to see the whole picture and learn from Ms. Jesus missteps.
I haven't really kept up much with the Pitt Jolie thing beyond thread titles and the first few posts in a thread. My impression is that Pitt's popularity hasn't really changed and he's still seen as pretty much genial. He was a hit as Fauci on SNL. Ms. J, on the other hand, seems to have faded away and you don't hear much from her unless it's split-related I-got-done-wrong. Is my perception off, DLers?
MM definitely has the Ms. J vibe, but I think she's more in Amber Heard territory when I comes to her pathology.

From the Maul tonight, on the cancellation of Puerile or whatever it was....
Sources told the website that the company’s underwhelming output is partly down to a ‘lack of urgency’ from a couple with so many other interests (Harry’s polo and their charity work), but also down to the Duchess’s alleged vacillation.
‘She’s terrified of making a decision because she’s so concerned about her image, and so they can’t pull the trigger on anything,’ said a source who has spoken with Archewell about its content strategy. ‘She wants to be seen as this world leader, but they don’t have any strong ideas.’

R524 - The joke, SA, is that what would have made her something of a leader is showing that a biracial American could learn to play the Princess Game as well as a nice white English Home Counties girl. Think of the precedent Meghan could have set by showing she belonged in royal circles, understood royal constraints and why they matter, expressed affection for her adopted country, and realised gratefully what a spectacular framework her children were born into.
It could all have been so different. THAT would really have broken a mold. Instead, Meghan only proved that those White Home County Girls were best suited to being British royals, and that nonwhite foreigners really didn't have the smarts, grace, or discipline to master the role.
Irony doesn't begin to cover it.

Allison, who looked into Meghan's eyes and came away with a pretty good assessment of Meghan's soul was grossly underestimated by the Duchess. Maybe Allison was too black to understand her unique situation? Meghan probably thinks she just has to find the perfect interviewer who really, really gets her.
I would love for Caity Weaver of the NY Times (formerly with GQ and Gawker) to interview her. She's a great interviewer who can get to the heart of the matter without appearing cruel or too snarky. Better, she's biracial herself (AA dad, Caucasian mom) and passes for white much more so than Meghan. IIRC, she did a piece on the Ducal unit wedding that was eye-rolling.

Everyone missed the quote where Meghan referred to Archewell as a business and a start-up, not a foundation. Yet she pretends it's a charity. Yes, they do generate media content sporadically. What was the visit to UValde which include Archewell's CEO. Was that a business trip? Branding?
What do they consider business expenses? Do they receive charitable donations or grant funding?

It's the constraints of identity politics. Once you've opted to champion MM (despite her obvious ridiculousness) because of "strong biracial woman" and "racist UK media/royal family," it's hard to back out. It's even harder for what Gen Z calls liberal/white feminists, because MM's old-timey limousine liberalism is their wheelhouse. Progressives can navigate it by slamming Meghan's marrying into the BRF in the first place and for being mega-rich and a wannabe, faux progressive, influencer.
As for the Spotify charts, it was explained in one of the many twitter links here that they have various criteria/categories. The category in which she was shown at number one seemed to be based on media echo rather than actual listener engagement.

The author of this article is absolutely genius. The level of snark and editorializing was brilliant. Not doubt Meghan approves every last little bit of copy down to the title of the article ("Meghan of Montecito") - could this have completely flown over Meghan's head? Or do you think this was a surprise hit. I wouldn't call it a hatchet job, but this author is no kiss ass and gave off a side eye vibe to Meghan from start to finish. The Zillow analogy of dashed dreams was so good. Also, describing the house as a "Beverly Hills Country Club" was not meant as a complement. She's gained a new fan.
Harry grumbling about the plumbing - their house is one of the shittiest houses in the neighborhood and it needed major work when they bought it. 14M is not that pricey for ultra high end SoCal real estate. It's also not A+ Montecito in terms of location.
This isn't that revelatory, but I heard from a friend that Harry & Meghan are not members of the SB Polo Club. They won't pay to join. Harry just plays on Nacho's team. He doesn't even have his own horse.

[quote]MM's old-timey limousine liberalism is their wheelhouse. Progressives can navigate it by slamming Meghan's marrying into the BRF in the first place and for being mega-rich and a wannabe, faux progressive, influencer.
I hate to break it to you but they’re all limousines liberals. I don’t see progressives joining the peace corps. What I do see is a lot of progressive poseurs on Tic Tok.

Tina Brown a friend of Diana's and author of The Palace Papers says Diana would not have liked Meghan and would've been horrified by the way he's treating William and even Charles.

Lainey's effusive praise for the article and the author Allison P. Davis. The Duchess, not so much. She seems to be in denial about the copious amounts of shade in the article.
by Anonymous | reply 563 | September 1, 2022 4:22 PM |
I've just realized The Lion King premiere was a busy night. Maybe The Duchess confused the Mandela tribute with hustling Bob Iger.

I can’t imagine being caught up in one of Meghan’s lies. Obviously if she’s going to tell a lie about the national clergyman that married her, she’ll tell a lie about anyone.
I feel sorry for the poor actors in The Lion King who were dragged into her insane lie. I can’t imagine being dragged into something just because you’re in the vicinity.

Maybe these women are just too dense and so far up Meghan's ass they don't see the article as we do. Lainey for sure has celeb chasing shit for brains.
Maybe they think it's brilliantly showcasing why we should love this sassy influencer and admire her. Or they are just trying to convince the public it is. So stupid or dishonest.
As someone said upthread, those who immediately started praising Meghan for no other reason that that she was a bi-racial woman who was marrying into royalty didn't have the smarts and integrity back then to see through her as some others already could, and now they don't have the integrity to admit they were wrong and they were all about judging someone on the basis of race.

Could it be that the tone of the article reflected the perhaps conflicted feelings some women of color have about Meghan?
by Anonymous | reply 567 | September 1, 2022 4:56 PM |
I only read some excerpts from the article and was surprised it seemed so cloying and saccharine. The Cut is usually snarky. So the author was taking the piss?
Also, how can the DL ban the DM? It's a prime source of pics of celebrity Dad Bods at the beach and true crime. For shame! I love the DM. Politics on there are execrable but easily avoided.

You can still link to it but it's got a cranky text substitution that's supposed to shame you.

I thought the CUT article was a textbook illustration of "Grandiose Narcissism" in action.
This is from Scientific American and pre-Meagain (2015) but a roadmap of Ms. Markle's current march to irrelevance.
None are so blind as those unable, for whatever reason, to see. Or those paid to be blind, I guess.

i read somewhere that Meghan was not promised editorial control of the The Cut interview. All she was guaranteed was a photo layout to accompany it and the cover. Sorry I don't have a source.

If you Google Allison P. Davis, the first news story that pops up has a headline noting that she was handpicked by the Duchess herself.

She is the mirror image of Jolie in personality traits. Both into love bombing, presenting themselves as martyrs, marrying up, philanthropists, angels in the home. Their divorce will be nuclear. Queenie won't be around to deal with it but Charles will, he's less popular so there will be some sympathy for Megs.

Dearest Meghan, I hope that you will find it in your heart to forgive the royal family some day., even if they are undeserving.. Remember that you are the direct spiritual heir of Nelson Mandela. Although I would never compare the magnitude of your suffering to his, it would only increase your stature if you could emulate him and forgive.

Lies are what she does. She don't care. Each tall tale is refuted but then quickly replaced by another lie.
How people can Stan her I'll never know.

Melissa Murray is brilliant. I think a lot of Black women see themselves in Meghan when she talks about racism. The difference is they've experienced racism throughout their lives. I think Meghan experienced isolated instances of racism while she was a working royal--the "straight out of Compton" article; Boris Johnson's sister writing about her "exotic blood", Princess Michael of Kent's brooch; and Camilla's joke about the baby having a red afro. She also experienced a lot of love when she married Harry.
I am prepared for the onslaught insisting none of the things I cited are racist. Yes, they are. No doubt Meghan weaponized them and conflated the two stories with all the negative coverage of her expenditures and the accurate coverage of her earlier years.
Obsessive love or hate for Meghan is unhealthy and requires a step back.

I wonder if Becky Sharp will widen her net of attack? Maybe start taking jabs at the Wessexes? They seem to have been spared her sting so far? Who else might added to her crosshairs to mix up her playlist a bit?

Oh for pity's sake I am sick of hearing about how you can't link to the DM. The DM has some long ass link that you have to deal with every time you copy an entire article or even a paragraph. That's probably the issue. Just copy what you want us to see and delete the URLs that come with it. We don't need the link, I promise we'll believe you didn't edit it.
BUT it isn't that hard to just copy and paste a DM article to here. Just do that and stop bellyaching.

R571 Thanks for the article, it's quite good. It is also, unfortunately, a nearly picture perfect illustration of how Meghan Markle functions, including the downward spiral of popularity she is experiencing. And, it bears noting that HG Tudor has pretty much outlined what this article concludes in his own programmes, "Harry's Wife". He's on the money, particularly in the switches back and forth from the "emerging" to the "enduring" zone in order for the narcissist to hold onto the mark.
The conclusions about failing relationships over time doesn't bode well for Harry, does it?

R555 the racist who trashes the biracial girl. You're the one who can't stop sucking Trump's dick. Not a surprise that these MULTIPLE CONSTANT UNENDING Markle threads are from fascist racist Trump supporters. The fuck who is STILL trying to destroy democracy in the United States and around the word. FUCK YOU you sick fuck.

As an American who lived for years in the UK, I can assure you the British media's problem with her wasn't that she was half-black, it was that she was 100% a provincial American who thought she was a World Authority on Everything. If Harry had married a black Brit, there wouldn't have been an issue. Meghan's an obnoxious Valley Girl.

The thing is, you can't be a world leader if you don't lead. Every single thing they've done has been reactive or chasing a current trend. They are followers through and through.
