I'm with you on this one, though typically these kind of creepy serial killer stories involve men victimizing young women. This is kind of an interesting twist in that he's victimizing some old jewish shrink.

I haven't watched it, and I'm on the fence given it's subject matter, but Steve Carrell needs to lay that pelt on top of me. Shirt off, daddy-o! Let's go! Rawr.

We just watched ep 3. It’s has its moments but still not grabbing us.

The patient stuff just doesn't feel credible. And the show keeps repeating the same beats. We know Carell’s character isn’t going to be released any time soon so there is no suspense about that.

Fantastic series. But given it’s from the creators of The Americans I don’t see this ending well for the Carell character. Episode 5 had one of the most disturbing scenes I’ve seen on TV since Philip Jennings put Annalise in a suitcase on The Americans.

It didn't really seem to get any buzz; the whole "serial killer" thing has been done. But I think it was kind of set up to showcase Steve Carrell's *serious* actor chops, but Gleeson got a lot of positive reviews too in a rather thankless role

The scene at he table would've been better (and way more comforting) if he'd seen his wife there too.
