Dohmnall Gleeson in "The Patient"
Looking good.
I knew that after Star Wars, people would take notice of him.
Dohmnall made a huge impression, and I predict that he's going to be big in a few years.
He's so handsome, but he looks very different in this series.
This show looks creepy.
I can't wait to watch it!

Carell looks better NOW than he did 20 years ago.

Why do they have him wearing a fright wig?
Two eps in and not sure where I stand on this show.

I hate mental illness shit like this. Won't watch.
Tangling with people who have screws loose is no picnic in the park.

I loathe Steve Carell trying to be dramatic.

I usually don't like serial killer "entertainment" but this is pretty good.

People have been saying this since Harry Potter movies and "True Grit" over a decade ago. He's a character actor and will always remain a character actor.

Saw him in a play in Edinburgh. Excellent. Very cute.

I smell an Emmy Award for Dohmnall!

He has the bluest eyes in "The Force Awakens."
That's when I feel in love with him.

I'm with you on this one, though typically these kind of creepy serial killer stories involve men victimizing young women. This is kind of an interesting twist in that he's victimizing some old jewish shrink.

Great plot premise. I'm enjoying it so far.

I haven't watched it, and I'm on the fence given it's subject matter, but Steve Carrell needs to lay that pelt on top of me. Shirt off, daddy-o! Let's go! Rawr.

We just watched ep 3. It’s has its moments but still not grabbing us.
The patient stuff just doesn't feel credible. And the show keeps repeating the same beats. We know Carell’s character isn’t going to be released any time soon so there is no suspense about that.

Fantastic series. But given it’s from the creators of The Americans I don’t see this ending well for the Carell character. Episode 5 had one of the most disturbing scenes I’ve seen on TV since Philip Jennings put Annalise in a suitcase on The Americans.

Wow. Just finished The Patient. So dark. I see Emmy Awards. But shit, hard to watch? Anyone else get through this?

The Patient didn’t catch fire. Wouldn’t expect major awards.
It kept repeating the same beats.

Gleeson definitely inherited the acting gene; he communicates a lot without words.

It didn't really seem to get any buzz; the whole "serial killer" thing has been done. But I think it was kind of set up to showcase Steve Carrell's *serious* actor chops, but Gleeson got a lot of positive reviews too in a rather thankless role

Tedious and unsatisfying.

Carell, whom I generally don’t like, is excellent in this. But refer to R29.

Spoiler alert.....
The scene at he table would've been better (and way more comforting) if he'd seen his wife there too.
