He was probably cast because of his short stature.

This is mostly an "I can't believe how old I am" thing, but I was shocked to learn he was 85, even though I remember seeing him on Quincy and Rockford Files and Batman reruns.

How old are you?

Maybe, Shannen will be another Valerie Harper type and live several more years.

So far only Jason Priestley has twitted about Joe. Old lady cunt Gabrielle Carteris just retweeted Jason's tweet.

I'm glad he used the "E." so we never confused him with the other Joe Tatas.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 25, 2022 11:49 PM |
He was Joey Tata, then switched to Joe E.

This is actually their third death from 90210 recently isn't it? Jessica Klein, their EP, passed not too long after Denise Dowse.

When he and his sister were children and behaving well, their mother would be complimented , “ nice tatas.”

I remember 90210 being the first show that I watched on my very first end tv in my bedroom. I had to share with my older brother when his girlfriends mom kicked him out of their house after she found out he knocked up her daughter. He was 19 at the time and had a king size bag waterbed stereo and tv. He only lived back at our house for a week and then was back to shacking up at his girlfriends but he ended leaving all his furniture so I got to claim it. Along with my cheeseburger phone I felt like I was a little rich kid.

Just last night I watched a 1983 episode of Hotel he guested on.

I was just thinking about how they wasted the reboot opportunity.

Bummer. Around 2003/2004, I used to work in the Frank Gehry building on Sunset Blvd. next door to the old Tower Records. My department used to go to happy hour at the bar (Red Rock) across the street and Joe E. Tata could always be found sitting a the bar by himself all the time.
He wasn't there in a "hey look at me -- I'm Nate from the Peach Pit" way. It was more like a sad "Don't mind me, I'm just wallowing in my own misery" vibe. He would just stare at his drink in silence for hours. No one ever talked to him. His last years seemed kinda lonely and sad.
