Gregory Peck
Gregory Peck was one of Hollywood's most popular leading men. So tall. So handsome. So talented. Yet he has never had a Datalounge thread devoted to him.
He worked from the mid-1940's to the late 1990's and worked with the best directors. To Kill A Mockingbird is an absolute classic known by everyone. The Chairman, Roman Holiday and Spellbound are all terrific films. He has worked opposite Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Ava Gardner and Jennifer Jones and many, many more.
Anyone else a fan?

My mother had a real hard on for him. I think Duel in the Sun was her sexual awakening.

Love him in Spellbound, he was handsome, but unusual looking for a male movie star of that era with his large lips.

Massive fan here - I find him achingly, heartstoppingly beautiful. And he was a Democrat!

Very handsome but not as revered as other stars of the era, for some reason

^Because he was bland as a nun's panties, R15!
Dirke Bogarde, on the other hand, was an artist of the first order....

He did a lot of films and worked steadily during the 50s. 60s and 70s. I liked Cape Fear, The Omen, To Kill a Mockingbird. Roman Holiday and Moby Dick. He did a lot of mediocre and forgettable films as well: Marooned, Mirage, Behold a Pale Horse, Arabesque. Mackenna's Gold, I Walk the Line, Shoot Out. Billy Two Hats, Old Gringo, MacArthur . . .he was a well-known leading man rather than a talented actor.

I thought Arabesque was a lot of fun. Not much acting required, but he and Sophia Loren were game enough for a light thriller.

He’s responsible for Streisand winning her Oscar.
As Academy President, he insisted Streisand be made an Academy member even before “Funny Girl” was released.
Obviously, Babs voted for herself which created the tie with Hepburn.

I think it's so cool that he's buried in the basement of the cathedral in Los Angeles.

Watching TKAM as a child with my parents, I with many questions, made me the liberal Democrat I am today.
