Alex was in the second Endless Love film adaptation that was even less faithful to the book than the original was and looked like a long shiny 2010s Instagram clothing ad and removed the psychological horror aspects. The original did look low budget and like a 70s catalog but it was motherfucking Zeffirelli and had some merit despite the terrible acting, it was actually creepy and fucked up like the book. Jacob Elordi actually would be good if they remade Endless Love again since his Euphoria character is basically like David from Endless Love.
